I needed a battery-powered fence charger since I don’t have access to a 120V outlet outdoors. This unit works very well to protect both my fruit tree and bird feeder from raccoons and squirrels. I tested it myself and can confirm it delivers a powerful shock. The only feature I wish it had is a way to regulate the power level, such as adjustable voltage, as well as the frequency of the pulse. Some animals manage to slip through if they’re quick enough, as the pulse interval of once every 1.5 seconds can miss them. Overall, it’s a well-built product with quality accessories—perfect for a small, battery-powered setup.
