This is a great little dirt mover. As I was applying soil builder to the garden without this tool the builder was not spreading evenly. As the spaces became smaller, this little pal put the soil builder just where itneeded to be and it was spread more evenly. Perfect.

Works well, but smaller than I thought.

This was nothing like what I expected. It was so small and looked like it should be under 5$. A waste of money.

Didn't read the reviews, just looked at the picture. When it arrived, it is really small---maybe the equivalent to two soda cans stacked end to end. I was hoping for something the size of a shoe box or mailbox. Oh well. Can still use it as a sifter for my fertilizer.

This is perfect for what I need! I saw Monty Don use something similar to scoop out "compost" aka potting soil in the US. I had been using a trowel but always it made a mess on the floor, ground, etc. This does the job perfectly! Where has this been all my gardening career! No fuss, no mess. Great for scooping potting mix, compost, etc. So good, I bought a second one. Yes, I am one of those gardeners that uses things in the garden, puts it somewhere and then can't remember where I put it! So, I have a second one where I always know where it is if I can't find the first one (which is usually in my potting soil bag!). These are great!

Only holds a small amount of dirt. Not worth the price at all

I wasn't sure if this scoop would be any easier than the regular open scoop I've been using, but when I use a regular scoop to transfer potting soil from the bag to my pots and seeding trays, I always end up making a mess and wasting potting soil. With this design, the soil is less likely to spill over. For my needs, the size is just right. I use it to fill small pots, handling baskets, and seeding trays. If you need to fill whiskey barrels or other large containers, you might prefer something larger. I'm not sure how useful the sieve/drain holes feature will be, but as a scoop, this works great. I leave mine in my potting soil bag.The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that at $12.49 (July 2022), it seems a bit overpriced for what it is. It's just a plastic scoop. Some people cut down a plastic milk carton for the same purpose.
