I replaced a broken shovel handle with this one. I had to shave the sides down a bit to fit. Looks to be of good quality wood. I would buy again!

I found this spade handle to be very well made, it can be installed without a lot of effort by grinding the wood down a little bit. I also used a little Gorilla glue as a lubricant and stabilizer plus a new rivet ( it does not come with one) and I have a new spade.

Very solid and very strong handle that replaced the one on my Ames shovel. The wood seems to be extremely dense and i don't see me breaking this one.

The metal portion of this handle is made of light grade material. Definitely not as durable as the original it was intended to replace. Only time will tell how long it will last.
