It seems impossible to find good snaps. These are very disappointing. They don’t work. So far the best snaps I have found are the metal ones you use a hammer to fasten. They take longer and make a lot of noise but they work. These have a pliers that work well with the top button but not the bottom…so pretty much useless. Do t waste your money

This item is a good value. The only negative I find is that there could have been better usage instructions provided.

The snaps are fine but the tool that came with it is junk. The two ends don’t meet properly which make the snaps bend in half

Great little tool to have on hand for sewers or even crafters. It's a heavy-duty piece, so it definitely won't break easily. If you've never used 1 before it does come with 2 sided instructions that are fairly easy to understand if you still don't understand how to place the clasps, YouTube has videos to help. It comes with quite a few different colors as well. This is awesome if you have young boys that need their jeans adjusted frequently.

First and most importantly I love that it comes with the button pliers. I had purchased some buttons locally and they didn't come with anyway to set them so I was getting creative. I started practicing using this system and there's a learning curve. It works it just takes practice. I used material and pieces I am practicing on because I'm a novice at all this anyway. I mostly learned to go slow, line them up well and press firmly but not hard because it can crush it. I am feeling a lot more confident with this product now but practice is key.

The rubberized white plastic rings on the ends of the snap tool hold the small snap button parts in place while you position the tool correctly. This makes it much easier to get the snap right where you want it.The tool comes with a huge assortment of snap fasteners in a variety of colours. They are organized in a very nice plastic case so they won't get lost. The tool has concave and convex ends, and you always have to put the correct part of the snap into the appropriate end. The instructions make this very clear. so it's not to hard to get up to speed and make prefect snaps. This tool is great for pants that have lost buttons or if you prefer the convenience of a snap closure.

I've gotten a couple other kits with snap buttons (including one from a major retailer) that do not include instructions. I've never used snaps before this, so It was so helpful that instructions were included in the packaging!

This review is for the Snap Button Kit, MIFOLEU 200 Sets, priced at $15.99 at the time of this review. There's a lot of colorful buttons in this kit. It's pretty simple to use. The quality isn't the best. The buttons get marred a bit and they are for lightweight use but it's a pretty handy kit and very inexpensive.

For only $10 you get 100 sets of metal snap buttons, which seems like a good value. The instructions aren't super clear in my opinion. There are photo instructions on the back side of the label in the plastic case, but they're not easy to follow. The instructions on the website are marginally better. Also the pictures on the website are misleading, as they show the plastic case full of solid prong snap covers. Per the product description, there are only 10 of each color, far fewer than what is pictured.I tried to install my first snaps on a denim tote bag. As noted above, I wish the instructions were clearer. I first tried to install them on the hem of the tote bag, which is comprised of two layers of denim. I wasn't sure if the prongs would be long enough to secure the snap through two layers of denim. I pressed the clamp down with a lot of force. The snap button cover managed to attach itself to the denim, but the male button piece fell right off. I could see the tip of one metal prong poking through the denim, but the other four were hidden in between the denim layers. I removed the snap button cover and tried a second time with another snap button cover. Again, the snap failed to install. I gave up on trying to attach the snap to the hem and tried a third time on a different part of the tote that only had one layer of denim. Here, too, I got the same result: the snap button cover attached to the denim, but the male button piece failed to stick. After trying for about 20 minutes, I gave up and put the set away. I'll try again on thinner fabric later.

I have a bag that was poorly constructed with a drawstring, which is now falling apart. These buttons are allowing the bag to still hsve usefullness. This was my first time using these snaps. The first attempt resulting in one of the prongs pointing out and having a sharp edge. I'm willing to believe that was my poor technique to blame because I removed it and tried again with fresh pieces and it worked perfectly.
