When you need to put a snap fastener in a project, and you don’t need a lifetime supply of them, this fastener kit is the thing to get. In my case I wanted to attach a bike bag to the rear bike rack without straps or bungees. Two snap fasteners did the job. Because these snap together firmly they don’t let go when I hit a bump. If you use them on clothing you don’t want them to open when you bend or stretch…the ones in this kit will hold. The chrome finish on these is probably not rustproof but should last a long while if you keep them dry.

I used these to put snaps in a baby project. They were a little large for the project, but we’re easy to install and we’re sturdy.

Able to replace the snap on a pair of pants much easier and less expensive that having it done at the cleaners.

Product works well, tool would be a little annoying if you were trying to do a bunch of these. Lost a star only for Amazon's price fluctuations. Bought these for $5.34 last month with subscribe and save and now they want $10.64 for the same snaps. Was planning on cancelling it anyway and changing to a non tool including pack but disappointed in the price being nearly 2x as much after less then a month.

It works great. Put snaps on a hood and jacket Did not waste a single snap. I do think it should come with more snaps for this price. Dritz snaps appear higher quality than the Tandy snaps to me. Used the spreader and anvil from this kit to finish the Tandy kit after destroying several snaps with their spreader and anvil.

Not much to report here. Finish appeared to be durable and did not flake off when handled. The only thing I would hope that Dritz would change in the future is to keep the length of the peg on the male snap back holder to be slightly longer. I have purchased 6 packs of the size 24 snaps, some in black and some in chrome.Interestingly enough, the chrome pegs from Walmart were longer than the ones I got from here. Not Amazon's fault but would be nice if Dritz had some consistency with their product since fabric thickness varies. Since these are "heavy duty" wouldn't it make sense the fabric the buyer would be using it on be thicker?Other than that, they do the job and hold fairly tight.Recommended for basic snap work.
