I love see-through folders and envelopes for organizing paper. I'm a writer and I need to collect batches of paper and keep them from getting scattered. At the same time, I like to keep the collections neat and tidy - and I want to be able to identify them quickly. These envelopes are terrific for the above.In addition, I use a labelmaker to print out labels for the side (spine) of the envelope once it contains 100 or more pages, and I can then store my accumulated manuscripts on a bookshelf - neatly labeled and somehow more accessible because of the transparent quality of the storage material.The envelopes wear well and can be re-used for new projects once current projects are finalized and disposed of in the computer "cloud," with hard copies no longer needed.They also are useful for presenting work samples and marketing materials to clients. These are colorful and very useful, they won't last a life time, will crack after awhile, but worth it for about 5 years anyway. I have used these for years. I also like the way you can see through the envelope so you don't have to open and close it all the time, you know instantly what is in the envelope. I think it is a must for a Student, or any Business Professional wanting something quick and easy to carry to seperated from other documents.

I ordered these to organize tax papers and other mailed documents throughout the year. The fact that they're clear and colored make finding the right folder very easy. They are the perfect size for letter-sized documents. They won't hold hundreds of papers, but will hold several dozen. The quality is very good for the price. They may not be able to stand for heavy abuse (they're not incredibly thick), but definitely can stand up to some regular use! I was so pleased with these that I ordered a second set. They are definitely worth the money if you want to organize.

I bought these because I kept too many papers in standard folders and they kept ripping. I am pretty rough on these and fill them with all of my papers from grad school - they expand to about an inch or are very unobtrusive if only a few sheets are in them. The colors are great to know which class it contains - FYI, I got the same 5 colors in the picture. The only downside, which is in no way a problem with the product, is that my cats try to play with the strings if I leave them out and unwound.

This is a sturdy poly organizer that protects your documents & photos against staining. Its opaque material makes it easier to see what's in it and the 5 assorted colors allows you to organize your documents according to colors which is extremely helpful to me. (example: court docs in red, articles in blue, correspondence in green and so on.) And the price is very nice.

I had just about worn out some 10 year old side load poly envelopes, and wanted some replacements. These can hold about an inch stack of papers (this wasn't clear in the description). These envelopes (unlike my old ones) are sealed on the bottom so I can add a pen, pencil and/or highligher (and a thumb drive for back ups!) and not worry about them falling out the bottom. The old ones had velcro closures, so thought I would not like the button-string style, but have discovered I actually prefer this system, though I don't know if they will become a problem in the long run, but they seem substantial enough. Love the colors -- I can separate documents into categories or priority levels, and then quickly and easily find the right stack of papers in my laptop case when I want or need them. Great way to organize paper when traveling or when transporting paper work between the office and working from home.

I am a speech-language pathologist and I use these envelopes for my children's book based literature activities. I can store the book along with the materials for the activities right in the envelope. The envelope expands a bit and I've never had a problem fitting in all my materials. Everything is there when I need it, and as I am itinerant it is easy to take everything from school to school. Because the envelopes are see-through, I don't have to label them, I just make sure that the front of the book is at the front of the envelope. I have found that the envelopes hold up well and are really a value at under a dollar an envelope.
