Strength issue in hands, so much easier to file each category (finance, medical, shopping receipts, etc.) in separate see thru envelopes than in a heavy multiple file box.

I like these because they were the right size and price. But the plastic is not very stiff or durable. They will serve the purpose, but wouldn't buy again.

These are exactly what I was looking for! I needed something to keep organized for our year of RV living after we sold our house and while we are looking to buy another one in a different area. I wanted to keep cards for special occasions in, stuff to keep taxes in, One for important medical papers, one for receipts, etc. These are really working well!

This type of envelope is not easy to find. Many poly envelopes are very deep with multiple sections , or are so thin that they can’t hold much. This size is just right for things like- income tax forms and paperwork- things like mortgage paperwork that have many pages- collecting receiptsThese are things that I don’t need multiple sections - just a sturdy envelope to keep papers together. They are translucent enough that you can easily see what’s inside.

My older middle schooler used these to help organize papers needed for studying mid-terms and finals. She put manila folders inside for each subject and only papers needed for the tests. Everything she needed for the mid-terms or finals was in one place. It allowed her to take control of her studies and instill some sanity during a stressful time. The folders are light and thin so they did not add weight or bulk to an already heavy and loaded backpack. We reinforced the bottom with clear packaging tape since we knew it would get used and tossed around quite a bit. I will be implementing these folders for my second child's mid-terms and finals when the new school year begins.

Great option for organizing and containing papers, keeps papers clean. Sturdier than paper folders. Wish they had more colour options.

Bought these as a way to store children’s puzzles. Happy that they expand to allow more room for a board puzzle. Child can also easily open and close the envelopes with the string. Lost a star because one envelope’s string detached pretty quickly with minimal effort so durability may be an issue if these envelopes are constantly being opened and closed.

I'm a teacher and I purchased these to hold laminated task cards, tracking sheets, and the original copies of each type of activity. They work perfectly for my purposes. I specifically wanted the expandable pockets as some of my activities have LOTS of parts! I use them repeatedly throughout the year and have not had any problems with the poly tearing or becoming damaged. I would suggest sealing the end of the string, as one of mine has come unraveled. I simply replaced it with velcro to keep the flap shut. I am, in fact, ordering more sets!

I am a tax accountant and have been using these envelopes for the last 3 years. I love them. They are easy to open and fill. I can see which company is in the folder. To top it off they are a great value for the price.
