These small 3" x 5" pocket envelopes with Velcro closure are perfect for storing small items, such as embellishments, metal dies, scraps of paper, and more. They make it easy to store the items and take to crops. They are of good quality, and the Velcro closure stickers stay adhered to the plastic sleeves, even with repeated opening/closing.

I am using these to organize the large number of word cards I have for my small group reading instruction. I teach K-3 so the span of phonics skills is large. These are so much better than zipper bags - even the small square snack size still fold over and just take up space and look messy.I cut colored card stock for each skill and write the skill's number at the top along with what it contains (words, different game cards, etc). I can see at a glance what skill I need to grab and my options from that skill.Sometimes it is amazing how much mental stress can be eliminated with a simple change. I didn't know how much it was bothering me to have plastic zipper bags all over the place until I began replacing them with these!I do wish they had an option without the hook and look closure. The flaps are enough to keep everything in place and I could store a lot more in a container without that extra bulk.I'm buying more of these!

I searched all the reviews until I found the *only* one that spoke to my need, so i thought I would add another review to aid others who are looking for a solution to interchangeable knitting needle or crochet cords. Any knitter or crocheter out there who uses interchangeable needles or hooks knows the pain of storing all the different cords that come with different sets in a way that makes them easy to find and easy to store. These pouches are the perfect size for storing your cords individually, with plenty of room to label them with name and size. Once the envelopes are filled and labeled, you can file them in any 3x5 index card box that suits your needs. Now, I can find what I need quickly and see what I'm already using; it makes my crafting life so much easier (and neater)!
