It works well enough, but the app kind of sucks. There is no power button, and the unit doesn't always turn off when you power it down via the app. Next time you go to use it, the batteries are dead. The app could be a little bit better. The app will occasionally freeze, and the only way to get it to work again is to go into app settings and force stop it, and then restart your phone. Sometimes you have to reset the gps unit itself. A sim card tool or safety pin works best, but there is no tool included with the unit.

This was available at at good price and delivery was very fast! I've used this GNSS before, popped out of my Limitless, and was ran over by a car lol. However this newest version seems to load up faster and the battery stays charged longer.đ

I compared the speed readout with my car speedometer and found it identical. There is a slight delay because the SkyRC unit is using GPS satellites, but the accuracy is spot on!The device is compact and very useful! If you make modifications to your model this device will tell you whether or not they are effective!

This was an upgrade over the older style that I had which you had to pull out and read it on the actual units to see what the speed was. The app is easy use and has options. It does take two or three minutes for the unit to get GPS signal but once all the GPS signals are available, you can drop it into your RC and get live stream or bring it closer and get your speed. I use it mostly for running RC boats. It will not, however, penetrate carbon fiber I have one boat that's all carbon fiber, and I can't get a signal through it so I have to mount it on the outside. battery life is pretty good. You can pretty much use it all day on a single charge.
