What a great addition to my Summit climbing tree stand. You never have to worry about the shoulder straps sliding down your arm. You will not be sorry when you purchase this.

It fits perfectly on my large XOP XL climbing treestand as well as on my smaller and compact XOP Evolution. The weight support is well distributed between the hips and the shoulder. It would be interesting to find out if I can strap harvested meat on the treestand. I hope this harness can handle that much extra weight.

If you own or plan to use this on a summit tree stand, don't buy it. It has to go on bottom half...which doesn't allow you to carry the summit system. (Least not vipers) the seat systems are in the way.

This backpack system does a fantastic job of distributing the weight making a mile walk feel like a simple hike

I really didn't think it would be as sturdy as it is I thought it would be flimsy but it is not a pos this is a plus for anyone that will need to carry their climber more than a few steps I sometimes carry mine about a ten minute walk

Just used it for our hunting trip. Worked well and was very worth getting.

This harness made the chore of carrying a tree stand into the deer woods very easy. The harness is well made and sturdy, although I took one star off due to the stitching in the sternum strap coming undone. It was easy to attach to the tree stand, and even with my heavy daypack the load was easy to balance and maneuver with it on my back. Unlike the basic, minimalist straps I had on there before, I felt like I could hike miles with this harness. The plastic buckles that could knock against the frame of your tree stand and make noise are all enclosed in pockets to sound-proof them. I suppose you could leave the harness on the stand, but once I got the stand to a tree, before hanging it, I removed the harness so it wouldn't get beat up by the elements and any creatures looking to make a nest. I highly recommend this harness, and I might swap out the military style harness I have on my Summit Viper climbing tree stand.
