Good quality material. Good color. Works well with using a 2X4. I have a different set and the brackets can hold a 2X6 while this one can only hold a 2X4. The 2X6 brackets give extra stability for abuilding a raised hunting blind than these do. I used them to build a platform but I will put a lighter, prefabricated blind on top than use these as a base for a full-sized wooden blind. It is not that these are not a good product, but after using ones that hold a 2X6, these are just regular.

First, these fit well, no shims or shaving needed. They're also built fairly well, however.....Deer season just ended here, so now it's time to start preparing for spring projects in anticipation of next season. I got these and another brand for the same price. Had I not already had the other brand, I would have said these were a high four-star or a low five-star. Instead, three stars is all I can give because for the same price, the other brand was significantly better. The welds on these look to be laser welds, which means there's no excuse for using partial welds instead of full welds, except to save a few fractions of a penny during manufacturing. Similarly, where the other brand is powder coated entirely inside and out, whereas these have no powder coating on the inside - again, a few fractions of a penny difference for a noticeably different feel in quality.I won't leave a negative review because the form, fit, and function of these are exactly as advertised, but better value can be found elsewhere.

Very happy with these. They're built to last, using thick, heavy-duty steel that exudes quality.To give you an idea of their sturdiness, I weighed one of the brackets, and it tipped the scales at just under 4 pounds (see picture) That's heavy duty stuff for 1 of those to be weighed at almost 4 pounds.I'm currently building a treehouse, and I have complete confidence that these brackets will provide rock-solid support for the structure.A nice bonus is that the brackets come with some hardware, including screws, which is convenient for getting started with your project.If you're looking for heavy-duty brackets that can handle demanding applications, look no further.

These brackets are made of high grade steel and can accommodate multiple size 2x framing members and 4x4 posts. The metal bearing supports are properly sized to allow the joist to fit comfortably which made install a breeze. No notching required. Each bracket has a powder coated finish and should withstand the elements well. The kit comes with 4- brackets and a bag full of fasteners. A great kit to build your hunting blind.

These came with instructions, hardware and a driver. I’m not sure I would trust the fasteners but the brackets appear to be well made. There are a few structural improvements that are not touted in the description. I would actually trust building a tree house for my kids out of these brackets. I’ll try to include a couple of photos of these improvements.

Build quality is pretty good with these brackets but the outer coating was scratched up out of the box. Nothing too bad and it can be touched up with some spray paint. The 4x4 post fits great with very little play. My only issue is the hole size seems small for something that will support a stand at any height. The provided screws are also very small and I wouldn't want to use these on a stand that will be very high off the ground.

This review isa for the Deer Stand Brackets 4x4, Heavy Duty 12 Gauge Steel Elevator Brackets, Deer Blind Brackets for Outdoor Platforms, Deer Hunting Stands, Shooting Shacks, and Tree Houses.These are some nice black heavy duty well made steel brackets for building an elevated structure! I have another set I got from a diff brand that are yellow, and I swear this box is heavier. At least my back thought it was LOL. But that changes from minute to minute, I'm a short handicapped woman with a very bad back. I just checked, and these do indeed weigh a bit more LOL. I'll be painting them all black to match and for extra protection from the weather.So anyway, I'll be using these along with the others I got, to construct 2 raised platforms. I'm always looking for new ways to keep things interesting for my service dog (a big male rottie), to challenge him, to get him to engage his mind and think situations/problems through... helps with our team mindset. I'll be building ladders for mthe up/down and a bridge across between them. I'll need help of course due to the weight of the lumber, hardware... I also have a female rottie that's a rescue, and these things will be great for confidence building for her as once she sees him do it, I have no doubt it'll be follow the leader type of thing LOL.These brackets are more than up to the challenge of this. I wouldn't mind just making a couple of nice raised treehouses LOL. These can be used for a platform, hunting blind, treehouse, raised chicken coup, a meat cache...Regular price $ 45.99 per the listing, this is the same as the other 4 pack I got. As much as I like these and the others I got, I see browsing listings now better prices on others. So watch for a sale/coupon, browse listings...As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

Very happy with this set of 4x4 compound angle brackets for constructing a deer stand. I've ordered brackets in the past only to find they are not perfectly sized for a 4x4 leg post. A pressure treated 4x4 post fits perfectly in these brackets from Toriexon. The four brackets are made with high quality featuring heavy duty 12-gauge steel with a black powder coated finish. Pressure treated 4x4 leg posts fit perfectly in these brackets with no shims needed! The brackets have predrilled holes and an 8 degree tilt to give your deer stand great stability. Take all the guess work out of starting your deer stand build with this set of brackets!
