The industrious Boyt brothers founded Walter Boyt Saddlery in 1901. The Boyt brother’s burgeoning enterprise primarily manufactured fine driving harness for buggies, however, the Great War in Europe took the company in a direction that would frame it for the next 100 years.

I didn't buy this from Amazon...got a smoking deal at a local retailer. OK..so it's not a Caldwell but for the price, it's not bad. No..an AR will not fit without a little ingenuity. You'll also need a 10 round mag too. I solved the issue with a sandbag in the butt stop. My AR sits flat and is firmly supported. Overall, I'm pleased especially considering the deal I got.

This works great! The only down fall is that ARs don't really fit to well.

The build quality is average - not up to par with the Caldwell Lead Sleds. The spring-loaded adjustment piece broke while assembling, but the manufacturer quickly sent a replacement part. Overall, it works for the intended purpose, but could use minor improvements. The feet are hard plastic instead of rubber and there is no way to add weights or fill with shot / sand. The instructions were terrible, but most people should be able to figure it out. Of course, at $67, it costs a bit less than the Lead Sled Plus or Lead Sled Solo, but if I had to do it over, I might be inclined to pay $20 more and get one of the better Caldwell models.
