I use these for my tree stands. The ends of the strap are to thick to pass through the metal clasp, I cut the ends off the strap to pass through the buckle

Although marketed to keep trees attached to poles, I got these straps to hold storage bins closed when in the back of a pickup truck on the highway. I run the straps around the middle of the bin to secure it shut when the lid is bulging up because I have too many soft goods (stuffed animals) in them. They work great and hold as snug as I set them without having to readjust them. They are also very sturdy material that won’t tear or snap just because of a little rough treatment. Would definitely get more when the need arises

These straps will do an excellent job of adding additional stabilization to your tree stand, making your hunt safer! The green color will blend in well when used for tree stand stabilization or for other hunting tasks.The first thing I noted is the four pack of straps were quite heavy. The straps are high quality and heavy. The metal buckle is substantial, made of a heavy metal and feels very sturdy. The end of the strap also has a loop sewn into it which provides some additional application for the straps.I will use these straps for extra stabilization of my tree stand. I will likely get more use while using these straps for camping and canoeing – lots of applications from lashing gear into a canoe to using for general camping – from lashing a cooler shut to keep out racoons to hanging camp gear such as a lantern.One thing to note – it is a little bit difficult to thread the loop end of the strap through the metal buckle. I ended up using the tine of a fork to thread that strap through the buckle. This could be a difficult task to accomplish when using in cold or inclement weather. Be prepared – these are quality straps!

A quality strap for holding your hang-on deer stand in place before applying a more secure ratchet strap. This strap will get it about 80% tight to the tree. It’s that last 20% which is important and will need a ratchet style strap. I don’t take chances when standing on a platform 15 to 20 feet up in a tree. I want it locked down and secure. These straps however are easy to use and great for getting the stand into position. Lots of other uses for the straps as well. The hand loop end is a nice feature to help pull just a little more for that snug fit. As a master mover and getting things “that ain’t going nowhere" tight for transport; these straps will come in handy all year long.
