Great value for the price. Easy to use, very light to carry to the stand.After a few uses of not reeling it back up without getting it twisted, it made screechy noises one morning as I was climbing up into my stand as it unraveled to let me get higher. From then on, I've made sure not to let it twist as I wrap it up and it's back to being quiet.

Bought this to try out for saddle hunting, it has a pocket knife type clip so it’s never 100% secure. When I got to my spot where I wanted to hunt it was missing. It was either snagged off of me or worked itself off of me while walking in. I’m sure it functions well, but I recommend carrying it in a pack or pocket and then applying it to yourself once at your spot.

It does the job. I have had a few issues with it. The material can slip out of my hand easily and the clip is a little loose and can pop off easily. I wish it had a bit more texture to grip the line when you have to pull things up. Other than that it's great.

The only complaint I’d have is the slight noise it makes when reeling in the line. It’s really light weight, surprisingly light actually. The cord/webbing is easy to grab and feeds back in smoothly. It’s really good quality and I wasn’t actually expecting that. The way it works is simple and effective, it’s basically a fishing reel for your gear. I wasn’t sure if I’d like this but I have actually found it to be really useful and I have high expectations moving forward with it. Would buy again if needed, will also be recommending to hunting friends.

Works great. So much more organized than the old school pull up ropes. Only complaint I have is the clip on mine isn’t too strong. It has fallen off my waste a hand full of times. Overall good product.

This is an interesting product if used correctly. As the description and other reviews say, DO NOT USE THE CRANK TO BRING UP YOUR BOW OR RIFLE!!! It is not designed for that or strong enough. Hand over hand it up and then use the handle to retract the ribbon. Yes, that is right 'ribbon'. It is not a cord or a rope. It is a flat ribbon and very light but strong. However, the slightest breeze will send it flying into and around every branch and snag around.When clipped to your belt with your bow left on the ground, the ribbon slips out of the reel well and you don't feel any drag. However, I have yet to figure out how to let my bow down and have the clip release so that I don't have 30 feet of ribbon wrapping around my legs as I try to climb down. Suggestions would be welcome.
