These safety ropes are significantly better than the standard tree safety straps. They are easier to put on and much more adjustable for comfort.

This rope is quality. My son got into saddle hunting this year with his newly acquired bow. The rope lasted the entire season and will for many more. Its nice and solid and gives me more peace of mind knowing he is safe in the tree.

Good lineman's rope that is cheaper than the major hunting brands like Muddy. The rope and hardware appear sturdy. No issues this season so far. It looks like it will last several seasons, although some people recommend changing out your ropes every season. I only wish it came with instructions.

I just recently got into saddle hunting and a kit I got only came with one rope to use as a linesman/tether, so I needed a second. This worked as well as expected with no real stretch. I got the black with yellow that is not reflective as I didn't really need or want that option, and the rope looks good and is not going to be highly visible to any deer. Things I really liked about this is that the ends have the heat-shrinked rubber sleeves on them to help prevent unravelling, etc., however, it doesn't say anything about them being sewn together so I would not expected the ends to hold up to a load (e.g. using a climbing aid or rappeler and expecting it to stop at the end). The looped end has a knot which I am fine with - a sewn looped eye would be nice, but the knot does work, too. The prusic knot and carabiner are a nice addition - I used them this season but next year I'll replace the prusic with a Ropeman 1 and just keep the prusic as a back-up. At under $20 this is a decent product and I would recommend it.

I just got into saddle hunting this year, and you despite what some people say, there is no way you should be going up a tree without one of these IN ADDITION to your tree strap or second linemans rope as a safety redundancy. I know it adds an extra step, but that step is worth taking if you don't want to fall out of a tree and hurt yourself severely or worse. Add it to your kit, you won't regret it.
