Works great! My exclusively indoor cat is a pretty heavy scratcher! I keep scratching posts and scratchy cardboard boxes and mats all over the house. I was able to rewind one post fairly snug, and so far he hasn't ripped it to shreds@

I expected the twine to be a little thicker, I will have to purchase more to complete the entire scratching pole.

My cats are crazy, and every day I am thankful for their cat scratching pole! They attack it like it is a fierce beast. This rope works well. Make sure you check the size carefully, as I ordered the wrong size initially.

I bought this to replace worn scratching sisal rope for my cat's window tower. Got the 50ft length and now realize I need more than this. For now, I've used part of the undamaged original rope to finish the column.This is great for what I needed. This replacement was thicker than the original sisal. It's a bit of a job to re-do the roping. But I think it's worth it. Recommended.
