This was supposed to be a replacement blade for for my Silky Gomtaro pruning saw. Though I’m sure this blade would work it is not as strong as the original blade on the saw. The gauge of the steel is less, I returned it and purchased another whole new saw rather than taking a chance that this replacement blade would bend.

Very good blade. Silky saws are the best i have used in my position as a Landscaper. Only wish there was a way to sharpen them.

My father was a professional gardener and Silky hand saws were the only ones he used. They're really a pleasure to use. If I ever have a problem cutting a branch, I never feel that the saw is the problem. I wish every product worked as well.The model I purchased had two teeth sizes. The tip has smaller teeth for smaller branches while the rest of the blade is designed for thicker branches. This a great idea. It reduced the hassle of switching to a clipper or lopper saving me a lot of time and effort.
