This silicone griddle mat is a perfect fit for our 36" Blackstone griddle. Ours does have a metal cover, but we found that dust/hair/bugs were still getting in somehow, and onto the cooking surface. This has been a great solution to keep the grill surface as clean as possible in between cooks. It's easy to wash if needed, and can even be thrown in the dishwasher on the top rack (though I haven't tried that yet), as it is silicone.

I like how this rubber silicone is extremely flexible. It’s easy to pull it off and it’s also easy to lay in place. If you get a greasy, it’s easy to clean with a little bit of warm soap and water.

I have the original 36" Blackstone. Since I bought it, I have used a 33 gallon trash bag to cover the surface when not in use. It has actually worked very well to prevent rust. I peel it off when I want to cook, throw it away (one side is covered with grease) and cook. Repeat the process after the grill has cooled off. So what's wrong with that approach?There are a couple of problems. First, it's a messy way to do it, and wasteful of the plastic bags.Second, if the grill is the least bit warm, I have to wait, as a trash bag, obviously, will just melt to the surface and cause a real mess.So, while this method has worked for me for years, I wanted a more robust solution that was cleaner, easier, less wasteful, and more flexible. This cover fits all of those requirements.It fits perfectly onto the grill and seals well to the surface (which is what prevents rust ... no air means no rust). It's also easy to clean and I don't have to worry about damaging the surface of the grill when placing items on it while it is in storage. Overall, this mat works great and is the best way to protect my grill when it is not in use.

Love this....I am not using it for my griddle, but use it for a containment area for cat litter. The lip keeps it in place, and silicon is soooo easy to clean. This WOULD be perfect for it's intended use, but there are multiple other uses for a really big and think silicone pad....on the counter as something under meal prep on a cutting board, crafts table cover (easy clean up...especially resin!), paint pour station....pretty much anything. Hard to find big silcon mats......this is great!

I like that after I clean my grill, with this griddle mat, it will stay clean until the next use. It's durable and easy to clean. I can even put it in the dishwasher. It fits perfectly on my Blackstone grill and you can sit hot plates on it without any problems. I'm sure it will fit other brands of grills that are 36" too. Get your grill a mat.

I always find little knats or fruit flies stuck to my griddle top after every use a cleaning, it’s annoying because I try to take care of my blackstone after each use, but then have to clean it again before every use. This has solved my problem. Fits edge to edge perfectly and covers the run off spot, so if you have rats in your neighborhood, it will keep them from getting in. The only thing I can think that’s negative would be its cumbersome to clean in the 36 in size, but it’s too be expected, just keep in mind if you have a larger griddle like I do, you will likely need a larger sink or space to clean it outside so you don’t get water all over the kitchen like I did:)

This mat is nice, on par with the several others that we use for epoxy work. All of them seem of very similar thickness and quality. All work great.If you are getting this for your griddle, I suspect it will fit just fine, it is as-described dimensionally.If you are getting this as an epoxy or other work pad, you'll be as pleased with it as we are!

As you can see I got this for a craft mat! I seen this under another crafters page and had my eye out! It’s a heavy duty mat that I absolutely love!It’s a nice thick silicone mat, not thin like most of the crafting silicone mats is why I chose it. The fact that it has the edge (lip) around the entire thing makes it perfect to catch glitter, epoxy drips, flakes, anything really that may fall or drip. The other thin silicone mats are so difficult to clean, they don’t wash up easily and glitter is almost impossible to get off them unless you use disinfectant wipes and a lot of them which is another added cost! This cleans up like a dream! Everything wipes right off of it so easily, I used a baby wipe, a paper towel with some alcohol and tried just water, each way…everything came right up!! I’m thrilled with this. I ordered another one from another seller for my other table and I’m glad I did! This is a must have in any craft room! I already showed it on a Live tutorial in my group and other crafters were so impressed they already ordered some!! Highly recommend. I’m sure it’s great on the grill too 😁 Definitely worth having.
