Grill mates are ultimately the best product invented after the grill cookware. They are inexpensive and a must for everyone with a grill. Prevents the build up of food on your griddle, prevents flair up fires, food does not stick to the grill, helps in quick cleanup and more. I don’t know why I had not heard about this sooner! Buy a set for your grill master and they will be very appreciative for the gift!

Purchased for son-in-law for Christmas. They eat a lot of seafood and vegetables. This ensures great grilling without having things break apart or fall through the grates. Cleans easily, reusable and makes serving easy.

Using these grill mats for the first time I was impressed by the performance. They stay perfectly flat on the grill and made grilling pork chops easy with no sticking at all. It was a pleasant surprise to be able to BBQ without a big mess afterwards. They worked as promised delivering a tasty dinner and an easy cleanup . I have reached out to some family members and suggested they give them a try as well . They are reasonably priced and eliminated the sometimes daunting task of clean up . I bought these because my grill grids are getting old and really should be replaced but they're still usable. These mats keep the crud off the food. On the other hand these are a solid surface so any fat or moisture content just lays on them (and that probably happens with any grill mat). And they take some getting used to in order to get nice grill marks. You have to be careful that you keep track of how hot the burners are making the mat because the mat can only handle 600 degrees and the thermometer on your grill doesn't really provide the temperature of the grates and the mats. I tend to err on the side of not damaging the mat so getting the grill marks is something of an adventure for me.All that being said, I like the mats and use them for certain foods more than others - what's the use of a grill mat when you're planking salmon, for example. I will say that clean up isn't always as easy as they make it sound. Yes, they clean up relatively easily but some fatty greases seem harder to remove than others. I use Dawn to clean my dishes and that's good on grease but sometimes these mats require a little elbow grease to get all the grease off.Yes, I'd buy them again.

I purchased these to try and keep our propane grill from catching everything on fire as soon as oil and fat dripped down. It seems to prevent my items catching on fire while I'm away for a bit but then it pools all the juices and fat, creating a different type of external texture on whatever you're cooking. When things pool up, eventually they have to flow somewhere. Because this doesn't have any lips to hold the juices, it starts to create a different mess and sometimes fires on the other side of the grill. Do I need to probably get some pieces to our grill replaced or very heavily cleaned? Yes, I imagine so. Can this create the grill lines through the mat? Yes, it does do that on a lower level than direct contact to the grill. Easy to clean? Once it's cooled off - yes. I'm not sure it ever fully gets clean of oils an fat though. Is it the grill cleaning miracle I was hoping for? Not exactly.I bought it as a gift for my husband and father n law. My husband gets irritated with it and has stopped using it. I haven't heard a peep out of my FIL so I'm guessing he might not be a fan, or he forgot he even had it. Dang it... I do like how super thin they are for storing and travel!!!

Die Grillmatte lässt das Grillgut saftiggrillen,ohne das es anhaftet am Untergrund. Das Ergebnis ist schmackhaft und wie auf dem Rost gegrillt. Bitte nicht 2 Matten übereinander machen um eine größere Fläche zu erhalten, diese klebt sonst zusammen und lässt sich kaum mehr trennen ohne Schäden zu hinterlassen. Ansonsten eine super Grillmatte. Leicht zu reinigen, da ohne großen Kraftaufwand nur abgespült werden muss.

A great product. Retains all your marinade flavours and cooks evenly. Small items don't fall through the BBQ grill. The two mats were just the right size to fit side by side with just a little insignificant overlap. Wash under the hot tap or place in the dish washer. Great.

Let's start out with I was skeptical about these things. Everyone has seen the infomercials and we all know how thing seem. Well I decided to get one to try it out but I researched it here on Amazon and decided on these. They are thicker than the competition and you pay for it. Well worth the money. I have a 6 burner Ducane Stainless. This was the first grill I tried it on. After heating up the grill with the mat on it, I put some chicken, ribs and hot dogs on it. To my surprise, not only did it cook them well, but it left grill marks. It truly cooked everything well.So yesterday, here in Northen NJ, the weather was not the best. We were having our closing ceremonies for softball and used a 6 burner event grill. Now it is an open grill (no lid) but has a wind screen. We were trying to cook hamburgers on it. We have used it once before and the burger take a while to cook and tend to fall through the grates. The person cooking was at it for about 3 hours frustrated. I went home and brought these to him. Dropped them on the grill and watched the magic happen. We didn't even let it warm up, just started cooking. Not only did it keep the burger from falling through, but he said it was taking half the time to cook them. My guess is because it disperses the heat evenly across the mat or so it seemed. I put some hot dogs on there as well and just made it super easy to cook. Just roll them to cook the other side. Everyone who walked by the grill was asking what those were and the cook was just saying how impressed he was by them. I told them they are like the ones you see on the infomercial, just thicker, better but cost a bit more. Then I told them they can be reused about 200 times. That blew them away.People were asking me what brand they were and I told them KONA. Look, if you're going to try one just to see what it can do, get a cheaper one. But you will regret not spending the extra few dollars fro this one. I have felt those and this one is definitely thicker which makes it easier to use like how a griddle would be. Yes, the grease still drops off into your bbq unlike a griddle, but not a big deal.It cleaned relatively easy from cleaning while on the bbq to bringing it to your sink and some soap and water cleans it off. There are grill marks left from where it was, but not like it burned in. I'll add pictures so you can see. Solid product.I bought this at full price. No discount, nothing free. This is my opinion of the product. Hope it helps. Great father's day gift for the BBQ dad's out there.
