Upfront Disclaimer: I'm not using this griddle mat for its intended purpose. I run a small 3d printer farm and typically use silicone mats to contain the mess and help ensure that toxic resin can't leak out onto any nearby work surfaces. I'm using this mat as a spill mat under a printer.That said, I've used a ton of different silicon slap mats and griddle mats for this purpose. While silicone is silicone, many of the mats I've purchased are relatively thin and easily damaged. Many slap mats also have extremely low lips that are just barely large enough to contain small spills.Fortunately, this mat has none of those problems. It's made from relatively thick silicone with a tall lip that's effectively at keeping spills in place. The material is sturdy enough that it would be relatively hard to damage, even if you're using it for its intended purpose on an outdoor grill. If you need a silicone mat of this size for any reason, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one.

Got it not for a Blackstone grill but as protection when do soldering. Mat keeps parts from sliding. Is heat resistant and offers good surface protection. A big plus are the raised edges that keep small parts from being knocked off and lost. Perfect for electronic projects ad well as model assembly for building remote controlled applications.Super handy and a much better value then the overpriced speciality mats used in electronics assembly.Good product. Solid value. Perfect size.

I have the first generation Blackstone 17 inch griddle with the grease trap in the front.The silicone pad is thick material and should protect you griddle from rust by keeping the seasoned oil moist and cover the griddle from insects and rodents that my visit. However this silicone griddle pad was about 1/2 inch short on 2 sides, if placed all the way into one corner or 1/4 inch short all the way around if you prefer.It should still get the job done and is good value, but a tighter fit would make it better

I am reviewing the Silicone Griddle Mat for Blackstone from the Huggful Store. I, also, got this mat for use with something other than a Blackstone griddle. I wanted something reusable and larger enough to fit under the basket in my oven air fryer. It works great! It catches drips, just like aluminum foil does, but it’s easy to wash and can be use over and over again. No more aluminum foil waste and messy clean up. I recommend it highly.

Using this silicone grill cover for working with small electronic components. I needed a working surface that would keep small screws from rolling off the desk. This bright orange color makes it easy to find the screws and does a great job keeping the plastic parts from getting scratched. The sides are just high enough without interfering in the work surface, but keep everything in one spot. The material is flexible and a matte finish, so there's no glare. The construction is perfect - no defects or blemishes throughout. The silicone thickness is even throughout. Dimensions checked with a smart phone app match the description perfectly.

I was hoping this would keep the rust from forming when rain seeps through the cover. Sadly, it doesn't fit my Blackstone, there's a gap about 1/2" around the edges. I gave it a 3 star instead of 1 star because I am able to repurpose this and use it for my resin art and it works perfectly.

I don’t have a griddle so my use case is slightly different from this mat’s intended purpose. That said, this silicone mat is perfect as a protective mat for any handgun owner. This mat is the perfect size and design for my purpose as a handgun maintenance/breakdown mat. The soft silicone surface helps to protect from scratches and damage and the bright orange color makes finding the generally black pistol parts very easy. The silicone surface repels cleaning fluids and oils protecting your working surface. In addition, the slight raised lip around the edges of the mat prevent parts from rolling away. Finally, the mat comes folded into quarters in a nice re-usable heavy duty zip lock bag measuring 9” x 9” which makes for reasonably compact storage or even transport to the range if desired. Despite being folded, the mat unfolds completely flat to a generous 15” x 16”. The entire package weighs in at 303g making for easy and convenient transport. In summary, I don’t know how this functions as a griddle cover, but as a handgun maintenance mat, this is definitely a 5 star item.

Doesn't fit my 17" Blackstone properly, it has a 1/2"-3/4" gap around the edges.
