Work perfectly for foods that want to fall apart, plus loose vegetables. The smooth surface lets you easily pick up and turn food with a spatula, yet the large holes let everything sear nicely. You can clean them, but don't bother; best is that you can just chuck them in the recycle bin and have no clean-up at all.

These trays are perfect for cooking fish (especially salmon) on the grill. No more flaking fish falling through the grill and into the fire. Does not interfere with the actual cooking and the fish still gets a nice crisp. Also makes cleanup easier.

Although these come in a package with a lot of individual trays, they last forever and are great for grilling. Perfect for things that fall through the grate easily like asparagus, other veggies, shrimp etc. Also helpful for fragile things like fish fillets that fall apart easily or things with sugary sauces (ie BBQ, Asian) that char quickly and/or sticks to the grates. Also, if you want to season things with sauces before grilling (like veggies with Italian dressing), put one of these grill pans on a cookie sheet, put the items on the pan and season, and use that tray to carry the grill pan to and from the grill.
