About this item

  • 【STAY TEMPERATURE YEAR-ROUND】- SIKADEER RV Skylight Insulation Cover blocks the air and heat exchange between the inside and outside. This allows your Camper to warm quickly in winter and cool quickly in summer, reducing energy consumption.
  • 【FIT 14 INCH SKYLIGHT WELL】- The size of the product is 14"x14"x3", which can fit into the same-sized RV skylight perfectly. Make sure skylight sidewalls are vertical and not curved.
  • 【INSTALL IN SECONDS】- RV vent insulator inner is a highly elastic sponge. So you just need to insert it into the vent to install. Also can be removed easily. It is very convenient for daily use and cleaning.
  • 【EFFICIENT THERMAL INSULATION 】- This insulator with a double-layer aluminum foil bubble surface, which could reflect 97% of radiant heat; and a 3inch thick insulation sponge fills the inside, these designs will keep your RV efficiently insulated.
  • 【PGARDED NON-SLIP DESIGN】- The non-slip silicone particles cover the four sides of the RV vent insulator, ensuring that the insulator can be stably fit on the skylight, without worrying about slipping off.

Fantastic product. We love it in our camper. They’re easy to install and remove. They’re light weight but effective. They help with energy effency in our camper by keeping us insulted. The camper stays nice and cool and it stays warm when we need it to! Affordable too! Way cheaper than at Camping World and Vacationland.

I added these to my camper last winter and it made a big difference in how much my furnace ran to keep warm. Very easy to install: just let them "inflate" before placing into overhead vents. They work well to hold in heat, to reduce noise, and block out light. I work nights, so these make sleeping during the day much more comfortable. Easy to remove when you need to use your vent.

Keeps off the light from sun and camping night lights. Especially over the beds. These are our second ones to buy.

These are great. They have already reduced the outside noise of the nearby highway and are helping the temperature stay a bit warmer. They fit the vent space beautifully. My only complaint is they were packed so tightly they arrived at approximately a ½ thickness. I'm hoping they expand to the full 3 inches. They do seem to be expanding a bit so fingers crossed.

My experience.. 18 hours after opening, very little expansion. Thinking the bad reviews were correct and I'd be sending this one back - HOWEVER - I decided to unzip the pouch and remove the cushion to let it expand unencumbered. After another several hours but less than 2 days, I was shocked. Not only did this expand to a fraction shy of 3 inches thick, it expanded another 2-3 inches wide and long. I actually had a bit of a tussle getting it back into the pouch -AND- I had to gladly "force it" into the skylight and it was very tight. Your results may vary but this was a great purchase for me!

These are great!! Follow the instructions for the inflation time. These drastically helped improve the cooling of our camper and keeps the light out at the campsites. They fit snug in place and stay in place when traveling down the road.

This RV vent insulator fit and works perfectly to cut down on heat gain from my bathroom skylight. It also helps in the winter for heat loss. All I miss using it is the natural light from the skylight, but that is easy to live without. I think the tradeoffs are worth it. RV manufacturers should instead install even a small window rather than these prone to failure seal rooftop skylights. Just my opinion. It would take some redesign of their bathroom layouts, which they are probably not willing to do.

It was fairly easy to install once it was completely inflated, which took about 2 days. My camper has a standard skylight size was able to push it right in and it sealed up quite nicely. It also remained in place while traveling down the bumpy interstate. I did not have to use the velcro strips that came with it the cover has little rubber dots that help keep it in place. The foam and cover theme pretty durable. It definitely helped keep the temperature cooler on hot days with the air conditioner running.
