Your cart is empty.This is a Hardened Stainless Steel Satin Chrome Rigid 150 mm. This rule is made manufactured by Shinwa Measuring Tools Corporation, a premier tool manufacturer. This rule is made from the finest stainless steel available and is hardened and tempered. It has a zero glare satin chrome finish which makes it easy to read and will prevent corrosion. Markings are precision photo etched and then black filled for easy readability. The metric graduations show mm and .5 mm on one side and metric conversions on the reverse. side. Rule is 15 mm wide .5 mm thick. Both long edges and one end ends are ground flat and straight. Other end is rounded with a handing hole. Accuracy conforms to Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) B 7516 Grade 1.

I love this little ruler, it's great for checking mm lengths before buying screws or various hardware. Especially as a person that uses freedom units, I need this since I can't visualize metric.The marks are engraved and painted, I believe they will hold up to the test of time. I've had mine for a few months now and it's working great, but I can't say if this is a 'buy once, cry once' kind of tool.

The MM side of the ruler is very well done. It was hard for me to remove from the Protective Plastic Sleeve. I ditched the Sleeve. The Conversion Side of the Ruler is badly smudged to makes it impossible to read. This may be an isolated incident. ???? This works for me. The MM ruler is there and reads well.

Great price and great quality. Bought to use in aviation, specifically for the anti-glare property. I have a Snap On scale but it shines too much when I need to use a flashlight. I also needed mm that did not include half mm.

I think this is like the third or fourth time I've bought this exact item. It's just such a useful tool, I've gotten one for the sewing room, one for the leatherworking table, one for the computer desk, etc. I like buying Japanese tools, and Shinwa is a top name in the measuring business. The ruler is made from a sturdy piece of steel, thick enough so I'm not worried about bending it. Every 50 mm is marked in red, which just looks nice. One edge is marked in millimeters, and the other edge goes down to half millimeters—the first edge is easier to use day-to-day, but it's nice to have the other edge for precision when needed. Most importantly, the measuring starts from the edge of the ruler. If I had a dime for every time I've measured something with another ruler only to later notice that the "0" was like three millimeters from the end…well, I'd have like 50 cents, but really, all rulers should emulate this one and have the measuring start from the very end!
