It's cork grease. Not sure that'd be easy to screw up. Works just like every other tube I've used in 40 years of playing.

I purchased this because it appeared to be the same stuff we purchased from the music store but for a better price. It has the same ingredient list as what we had purchased from the music store. Does the job for my daughters clarinet. Would buy again.

This product is so awesome. This is great stuff! I’m really glad I bought this. You should buy this too.This is really good stuff that will help you wax the cork on a clarinet. For real, this was horrible. Amazon won’t let me post an honest review. One tube came empty and it took about a month to finally get what I paid for.

Not too long ago, I purchased a new instrument and the cork grease that came with it was this stuff that was so soft that you could not rub the tube directly on the cork or you'd waste a ton. It also didn't condition the cork very well and I would have to grease EVERY SINGLE TIME I went to play. Not surprising for a new instrument, but I was using the same stick for another instrument that is well-seasoned and was having the same issue. Finally, disgusted, I ordered this Vandoren cork grease because I'd used it in high school and it was always a great product. It performs just as well now as it did back then. It is thicker and the stick is harder, so I am not wasting as much when I apply the tube directly to the corks. My new instrument is now on it's way to having nicely seasoned corks. Thank you for this quality product!
