I have a friend that utilizes cork grease for lip preventative. Although not recommended for skin contact it can be that multipurpose solution when in a pinch. My friend also prefers her pants over a toilet though so there’s that…… solid product to lubricate those dry cork joints!

i ordered this cork grease because i recently ordered a clarinet to learn how to play, but the clarinet came with cork grease in a twist-top container. that grease was messy to apply and difficult to ration. these cork grease balms are much easier to apply to my instrument and still do the trick of making it easier to assemble. the multipack is excellent, as this cork grease should last a very long time without needing to be replenished. or, if you are a teacher, the quantity could be very convenient for multiple students.i am a beginner so i don't know too much about the ins and outs of instrument assembly, but i've been happy with this product.

I got my daughter a flute and when she put it together it wasn't greased so it was hard for her to put it together. I saw this cork grease and I don't think I have ever seen this brand before. I was in band a majority of my high school years and I played the flute we used a liquid grease to put on our instruments so having like a chapstick verson of thick grease is great. It's way less messy then liquid lubricant this can be used on all woodwind instruments. You don't need alot of it you just rub it around the ends before putting the instrument together so for the amount that you get it's worth it because it will last a while and it very cost effective.

This advertised All-Natural Cork Grease product, which comes in standard expanding tip dispensing tubes, appears to be an excellent unscented product for woodwind players looking for an easily applied & safe product. The compound spreads quickly, without clumping, is readily absorbed by cork surfaces & feels very smooth when testing with the fingertips.As a long-term saxophonist (for more than 60 years), I would not hesitate to recommend these cork grease sticks, especially to teachers and band directors who are looking for a well manufactured & economical product to use among their woodwind instrumentalists.

Great amount of grease for the whole band if you are inclined to share. This comes in a nice format for easy application and does not have a noticeable smell that would be off putting. I guess don't mistake this for your lib balm!!Very effective and convenient
