This is exactly what we needed. Works well for us. Has a nice carrying handle and is about the size as a brief case. Easy to store.

I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, because the wait was listed on Amazon, but this thing is surprisingly heavy. Hopefully that translates to sturdiness and fire resistance. I bought it to keep essential documents (wills, passports, etc.) in as part of a to-go kit in the event of a fire. It seems to be roomy enough for my needs. The lock isn't particularly sturdy, I'm sure it could be opened with a screwdriver or a pry bar but I'm not using it for security as the primary purpose so it seems that it will work well for me.

I bought similar products from big name brick and mortar stores in items were damaged and did not function properly. This product did not disappoint, easy to open, great quality, box is durable. the lock and key function is very smooth. Fortunately, I have not had to test. It’s fire proof capability.
