Got it for my kids dorm. Was easy to setup and works as expected. Able to fit a normal size laptop, and valuables and , iPad . Heavy so not something easy to grab and run away with

I would give this safe 0 stars if I could. I ordered it twice. The first time I could not set my own code and the key only worked 1 in 10 times. The instructions are not rocket science but it just doesn't work! I tried to get support but there is no contact info for the company anywhere. Amazon's product "support" is a joke - it's just a bot which sends you in unhelpful circles. There is no troubleshooting, just standard instructions which don't work because the safe does not work. I finally returned the first for an identical replacement and it's the same thing all over again. It took me probably 15 tries to open it with the factory code 1-2-3-4 and I cannot set my own code at all. The key works, most of the time. But I'm not going to lock my valuables in a safe which may or may not open when I need them. I'll allow the minimum 1 star for the pretty color but I have wasted so much time and effort ordering-repacking-shipping safes back. This should not be hard. Safe yourself the stress and pick something else.

This was a actually larger than I expected. It could hold a decent amount of valuables. It looks sleek too. It was trial and error with the keypad but I figured it out and so far so good. I'm happy with my purchase.

As sub $300 "safes" go, this one is good quality. Very often they use 1.5mm sheet metal for the body and 3mm sheet metal for the door. This one uses 2mm sheet metal for the body and 4mm for the door. That difference is significant. The electronic interface is simple, though sometimes it can be finicky accepting your code. Just keep trying and it will work. I have verified as correct the posted measurements (9.84"D x 13.78"W x 9.84"H). The actual weight on my scale is just over 22 lbs, 11 oz which is another way of verifying the amount of steel used. It has predrilled holes to secure it in place which is essential, so it can be neither water proof nor fire proof. The workmanship on these is good compared to some and the paint job is excellent. It's an attractive safe. With the door closed, the internal clear depth is 9" less the 1 3/4" electronics compartment which is recessed into the safe. As usual, these safes from the same factory are sold under different names by different sellers and I already have three of these but need one about 1" deeper. If the dimensions work for you, proceed with purchase if you are realistic about what you get at this price point. This is one of the better ones.

I have two safes this one you put in a four digit number. I find it easier than the safe that requires my thumbprint. I keep all my medicine in it , so it is always safe and secure. Great for hand guns and important papers as well.

My 11 year old granddaughter wanted a good safe. She had others that broke easily. This one is very sturdy, strong, just the right weight which indicates quality. The electronic code to get in works easily for my granddaughter and there are 2 back up keys and a nice instruction book. I am so happy I got something that she really wanted for her birthday. I also love the blue color I chose. It is a very nice product if you are in the market for a substantial safe.
