There's no mention of the XLR to 1/8" cable in the listing, but it is there, if anyone was wondering. Everything included looks good as new.

Not a replacement for an MKH 416 or other higher-end mic. But it is a great quality product at the good price point.

Many a filmmaker, videographer, and sound engineer will tell you that you should buy the Sennheiser 416, which is a great boom mic don't get me wrong. However, in comparing the sound from the MKE600 to the 416 the differences are not extreme enough to my trained ears to justify the cost for most people. If you're making great money doing sound then by all means purchase a 416. Heck, purchase a few just in case. But if you're just looking for incredible sound at a fair price, then the MKE600 (especially used or refurbished) is the absolute way to go. I prefer the sound over anything Rode has on the market hands down as well.

I'm using this directly into a BMPCC4K and am very happy at this point. I'm an amature film maker and this helped get a more professional result. Best value for the money too!

I needed a shotgun that would run both phantom, and with built in power. You can never go wrong with Sennheiser whether it's wireless Lav's, headphones or shotguns.
