I use to tie tree limbs before cutting and they hold well. Simple but great product. Rope is always useful

Great rope, but it is definitely thinner in diameter than normal traditional climbing rope. So, I don't know if I would feel climbing with it, but I would feel very confident using it in a million other applications, like tying down heavy loads on the back of my truck, etc.

This rope is pretty nice. On the thin side, I would describe it as heavy duty paracord. Melts easily with a lighter. Definitely not something I would trust my life to for rock climbing, but a great general purpose rope to throw in the bugout bag or with your camping gear. Good value for money, this is an item I would order again.

I put this into my survival bag that I take on short hikes and camping trips, and I love the fact that this little rope could, over a short span, carry the weight of a person if needed. Knowing I have a strong rope that is also lightweight and soft, brings a lot of confidence if I were stuck in a spot without a ton of gear to help me out. I used to keep a 5 meter section of much thicker rope wrapped in a long sling and secured with a carabiner to help if I were ever in a situation where I needed a rope, but using this small cord has now given me a ton of options when considering a survival situation.

A good quality cord for tying down or hoisting gear. It reminds me of paracord, just not as slick of a sheath on the outside. It's likely not as strong as the real deal either. This rope isn't rated or certified and I wouldn't trust my life to it climbing or otherwise. It's a general use rope that's heavier duty than your normal paracord camping stuff but doesn't take up too much space.

This is a pretty descent cords for tying off climbing accessories. It has a kernmantle constructions and is thick enough to handle a light load. I typically use a 7mm for prusiks and, as a rule, you never use anything less than 5mm, so it is a bit small for that. However, it is a good quality cord and it will work for a variety of other, non-life threatening, uses.

I just use this as if it were extra thick paracord and have loops for carabiners, etc. End fuse well enough with a flame.

Yes, climbing rope does stretch, but the amount of stretch depends on the type of rope: "dynamic" climbing ropes are designed to stretch significantly to absorb the impact of a fall, while "static" ropes have minimal stretch and are used for situations where minimal movement is desired, like hauling gear or lowering an injured climber. If you are looking for STATIC climbing rope, do not buy this rope. I was very disappointed how much stretch was in a 16 foot length; no I didn't measure how much it stretched.
