We used these to join Ikea Billy Bookcases. I used 3 per full size unit. Honestly a 4th would make it look just a bit nicer, but the one gap I have that did not snug up is at the bottom between the Oxburg doors and this was just put in a basement. A 4th screw would have snugged it up for sure. Snugging the bookcases together does not interfere with the door function. It makes the cases appear more like a single unit. We did not trim our cases in. The 30mm ones are the correct length. We had a set of 35mm, but they are too long. These do not come with a hex key, so you will need 2 for each screw.

Just what I needed. Seems to be good quality material but time in the elements will be the true test. Comes in a nice plastic case as well.
