I purchased some plates that are held together by plastic binding screws. I found these and they are less bulky and tighten up with the turn of a metal screw. very happy

I use these for my business for tags I place on my product. These are much cheaper than buying directly from the company I get my tags through and they look and work exactly the same.

Finally, chicago rivets with a phillips head! The other vendors i ordered from show Phillips but ship flathead. These are as advertised, male and female separated in the box.

I had a Chicago Screw emergency so bought these instead of the ones I normally get. I decided to try these because they are rust proof. I am pleasantly surprised with how nice they are. Very shiny, no dull spots on the female side and they go together really smoothly. I will keep using these!

What else can I say? They work bitchin! They're just the right size for binding two layers of thick leather (I've been using them for mostly making belts from leather 1/8" thick - 2mm. to 3mm. thick for users of the metric system), they're re-usable, and the price is right!
