We stock a wide variety of fasteners ideal for many applications around the home, farm, business, automotives, and in industry. Most of our fasteners have a light zinc plating over steel giving a more rust resistant finish. We also sell coated and stainless products for additional rust resistance. We stock many grades of fasteners ranging from low carbon steel on up to hardened, heat treated steel. Not all fasteners are applicable for all applications so be certain to test thoroughly and get the opinion of a licensed building or certified building or structural engineer before relying on these fasteners for any situations where failure would result in damage to property or person.

I refinish hard wood floors and use these to eliminate squeaks prior to sanding and filling. They work good and hold better than finish nails with the same size head.

I've driven thousands of them putting in a white shiplap ceiling. Here's what I learned:The #8 finish screw head is small and aesthetically pleasing. But it strips easily. I recommend three things:1. Do your best to keep your tool straight. Driving it in crooked will strip the head. For driving near corners you probably want to put an extender on your driver bit.2. Use a variable-speed drill, not a driver (which though also variable speed, can't resist driving too hard and causing stripping.3. Keep an eye on your driver bit. Once it starts getting worn (from stripping a few screw heads), it slips more often and you should replace it.

I was using the kind of gray screw with two kinds of threads that goes all the way into composite and you put a little plug in to cover the hole and I love them. But sometimes for whatever reason they just do not thread all the way in and you are left with the head showing. My solution (which I haven't done yet , because of winter) is to remove the gray screws that did not thread in far enough and substitute these white ones with have a smaller head, and are meant to show.

Couldn't find Grk screws at the local lumber yard. These worked just as well. Used to install pvc trim around windows.

These were long enough to get through the 1 inch of foam to secure the trim boards very happy with the screws. Bought two more boxes

These seem to be well made. The reverse thread really holds. When attaching pickets for my fence, the screw would initially push the picket out then pull it in hard. I found myself pressing fairly hard to keep the picket in place until it started to pull it in. These screws are difficult to remove with the reverse thread near the head. Again, I found I would have to press down hard on the picket to make the screw come out, otherwise it would push the picket away from the railing while also sinking further into it. I'm on my second box of 10 for this fence and feel very comfortable with them, but it's best to get it right the first time rather than trying to rework any mistakes.
