These Scotch scissors are well made. They really are for smaller hands. I will buy larger for the older boys and girls. They are both right and left-handed so that is a very nice feature. Probably will work for 4-9 years of age. They have a more pointed tip.

You can never have too many scissors! We homeschool and it feels like we are always looking for the scissors! Between 5 people using them, each kid leaving one in the craft room and one where we do school, these come in handy! Sharp enough for crafting projects, but not too sharp that they are cutting themselves all the time. Large enough for small hands, but not too large for the littles! I wouldn't mind having a variety of colors, but I now see that Scotch, in their wisdom, were doing their part to keep the peace. Having all green scissors has eliminated the "Who stole my scissors!?" squabbles! Thanks Scotch!

I'm doing an upcoming workshop and needed scissors that I could take on a plane so when I found these scissors were sold by Scotch, I figured they'd be perfect. They have a blunt tip and cushioned handles, but they gnaw yarn rather than giving a nice clean cut.

Would be perfect for a classroom, but we got these for home. My kids are always losing my scissors, now we have lots to spare and won’t run out. They are perfect for kids about 10 and under. Good quality, good grip

I got this set to replace an older set I had. These are better and seem more sturdy. My only regret is that I didn’t get more. I teach upper elementary.

Me gusta el tamaño que es muy práctico y el filo que es muy bueno para cortar lo que se necesita. Son de punta regular lo que no las hace peligrosas pero suficientemente picudas para cortar en zonas pequeñas. Buena adquisición.

This is a great set of scissors: they have a soft grippy surface which prevents them from slipping and the rounded tip keeps them from poking fingers or through bags.They seem reasonably well built and the 5-year warranty is icing on the cake.
