I needed a big set of scissors for an art project I was doing with my child’s class.. I was surprised to find this one that fit the bill, at an affordable/reasonable price. I was suspicious at how well they would actually work given the relatively low cost. But they were both sturdy and plenty sharp for the job! They did arrive with one pair missing (probably were returned and re-sold), so I contacted Amazon who promptly resolved the issue. Happy all around with this purchase.

Although this may be directed more toward classroom use, we got this for home for our few children. It's a nice collection of nice sharp well-cutting scissors that we haven't had any issues with yet. Nothing has been loosening up, no handles breaking, no complaints at all. Plastic feels quality as well and not like cheap fall apart give away scissors either. I'd recommend these if you either rdo have a small classroom or even just for home use if you want to have plenty of extras

I had at 1st though these were kid's scissors, they're labeled as student's scissors in the title, and 'blunt tip' made me think these would probably be going to the kindergarten after the grandkids took what they needed. These are not appropriate for littles. The 'students' they refer to would definitely be older kiddos with bigger hands and proper dexterity.But 36 scissors for under $1 a pair? I didn't expect much! With Christmas coming and lots of people wrapping all the donated items, we always run out of scissors, and keep losing them in the wrapping room at the North Pole, so I thought I'd take a chance.BOY, I'm glad I did! You know how sharp scissors can just be help and moved along the wrapping paper to cut it without the scissor motion? I hope you know what I mean, because these are them! This huge pack will let us get all the wrapping done and hopefully still have scissors left for next year.I also pack freeze dried food in mylar, and these cut 7 mil mylar very nicely as well, so they're a solid choice to add to emergency food buckets, whether you do food storage for yourself or for the homeless or disaster victims.Definitely worth the purchase!

I actually got these scissors for work since my department tends to use scissors intermittently (daily, but not constantly). The scissors we got would tend to float around different workstations and often get 'lost' temporarily or all end up at one workstation as people would use them and walk to another station with them and put them down there instead of putting them back where they first got them. These scissors - although smaller than a normal 'adult' set - are sufficient for our needs, and even though I have larger hands, these are still quite comfortable to use for the shorter duration that I tend to use them at a time. They also cut quite well and precisely. If I were going to cut for extended periods, I would probably use a larger/'adult' set for better fit.Considering that these come in a 36-pack, I've been dispersing a few of them to other departments at work, as many departments (even if they may have varying uses for scissors) still appreciate having a set or two handy. Therefore, don't only consider these just for the classroom, as they could come in handy at other jobs as well!

We go through scissors like crazy in our house. The kids all LOVE crafts of all kinds. Scissors seem to just grow legs and disappear. No clue where they end up, LOL! With a package of this size, we sure won't have to worry about that!You get 36 pairs of 7" scissors. They come neatly packaged in a cardboard case. Each one is nestled into its own little spot.I ordered these because they are advertised as rounded tip but the ones I received definitely aren't rounded. They are actually quite sharp and definitely have more pointed tips. For elementary schools or classrooms that require safety scissors or rounded tips, these wouldn't work.Other than the tips not being rounded, I was super pleased with the quality of the scissors. They cut well without shredding the paper. Some scissors are so dull that they barely cut through thick paper. These cut through paper, cardboard, and cardstock with ease.The handle colors are vibrant and colorful.The handles are smooth and don't cause hand fatigue during use. I thought they were very comfortable to hold. They work well for older kids and adults but would probably be too large for little ones.

Picked these up for the classroom, to pass out for art projects. Decided to keep them for my family. They are nice, sharp, and have soft handles. Even if you have larger hands, these will work great. Great value for high quality scissors. These are well built, not like some cheap value brand. I keep a few in the craft room, kitchen, office, and the kids have a few. I am very happy with this set.
