These are really nice scissors for the price. The blades are sharp and they feel sturdy and well-made. (No more being super frustrated over safety scissors that are so "safe" they bend the paper instead of cutting it!) We even cut cardboard with these no problem, although I don't think that's what they're designed for. Beautiful clean cuts, the perfect size for small hands (although adults can also use these no problem), and such a great price - what more can you ask for? As an added bonus, they also have a centimeter ruler etched into the outside of the blade. I am super happy with this purchase!

These suit my daughter well. The shape of the handles make them very comfortable to hold. The holes are slanted so that you cannot use them unless you insert your thumb and fingers then 'right' way - which makes this great for kids who struggle with fine motor skills. My daughter tends to want to hold them backwards/upside down), but with these she cannot comfortably do that. Very good mid size scissors for bigger little kids.
