Bought this to play iPhone podcasts and music thru an old car radio since the radio lacks an Aux port or any other input besides the radio antenna.Couldn’t figure out how to change the FM transmit frequency. Called Schosche customer service, who explained that some steps were missing from the instruction manual on the Amazon web page. They emailed me the missing steps: To change the FM transmit frequency, hold the PLAY/PAUSE button until the FM frequency digits flash. Press the Track Forward or Track Back buttons to increment/decrement the FM frequency and match it to the (otherwise unused) FM frequency on your radio receiver. Press PLAY/PAUSE again to lock in the frequency.Had trouble pairing via Bluetooth. Schosche customer service suggested updating the phone to the latest iOS version. That worked.Audio clarity is fine for car audio. A self-adhesive Velcro strip (not included) holds it in place. Recommended.

What a great sounding tiny radio! General coverage shortwave too! I need to run some more tests on it but so far, I had decent selectivity. You will need an external wire for shortwave though but I did receive some strong signals. Not the easiest controls to figure out but you will get used to them. I am not sure on how long the charge lasts on the battery as of yet. The sound through the included earbuds is very good too. Good value and a great value on sale.

I use this on my 2008 Hatley Davidson Electra Glide. I was using a fm Transmitter that plugged into my cigarette lighter port. This has 10x better sound quality than that did. Easy to connect to your phone. It is kind of a point to turn off. I have to hold it for 5 seconds and then it will turn off. Usually takes me a couple of times to get it to turn off. Other than that it works great.

It's a great idea, but not exactly the best execution. Bluetooth range is fine, whatever, but what it needs is fm range. I'm carrying a handheld radio and it's static depending on if I hold it close to my chest or at arm's length while the transmitter is in my hip pocket. And I still have to hold onto the antenna to use my body for reception.

Aug 28, 2023: The device worked yesterday for a little while but I started hearing blips and the sound cutting out momentarily. Then the device suddenly stopped playing music altogether. I tried numerous times to turn it off, on, off on and pair. Nothing worked. The little blue light blinked but nothing else. No music. I'm not happy. It was great while it lasted but it's useless now unless someone has a solution.July 12, 2023: Set up for this device was easy-peasy. It's a very small device so doesn't stand out or get in the way of anything. When I replaced my iPhone 6 with the iPhone SE, the SE did not have a port for headphones or an AUX cable. Now with Bluetooth and this device I can listen to my Amazon Music tunes in the car, through my car dashboard speakers. How great is that! I love it. Now I bought the car adapter for charging the device.

This item is amazing. Since Microsoft declined to add the ability to use Bluetooth to the Xbox One console, I had no way to use my wireless headphones with my Xbox. This device has solved everything! I simply plug this into my controller, hit the button, and it pairs amazingly. I believe the background fuzz others speak of depends on device being used and original sound quality. For example, when I use these with my Xbox I get no background static and everything sounds perfect. When I use these at work with my work computer, if I am not playing music or video, you hear a slight, verrrry low, hiss. Hardly noticeable, and completely non-existent if your playing music or video. I also assume sound quality has to do with headphone quality as well. My wireless earbuds cost me $20. I would think higher quality headphones with a stronger signal and range would perform better. As for range, I can get up from my desk, walk roughly 20-25 feet to the breakroom, and I still have music. If I walk outside to my car, about 50 feet away, I lose sound halfway there, and it automatically reconnects halfway back. So roughly 20 feet from source and your good. For those needing Bluetooth on a device that doesn't have it, this item is an AMAZING fix. I'm so happy I bought this and I will be buying a second one to leave at work so I don't keep bringing the one back and forth from home to work. I'm very happy with this device.

Excellent product! I bough the Scosche BTAXS2R Bluetooth Handsfee adapter to address a problem with my aftermarket Pioneer Navigation unit wherein the handsfree bluetooth communication stopped working. The Scosche worked excellently to integrate with the nav units audio and pared easily. My nav unit wasn't compliant with music so this was an added benefit to allow streaming of music from my iPhone. The unit also integrates well using Siri for voice dictation and audio commands which can be prompted by pushing down on the main button. Sound quality from talking on the phone appears to be very clear. My only surprise (which is minor) was that I was expecting the unit to be smaller than it is based on the pictures but the scale is hard to see on photos unless its compared to a coin for reference. I had thought this was going to be about a 2.5 inches long and 0.5 inches wide based on my interpretation of the photo but its actually slightly larger. This isn't a problem for me but I was looking for a solution that would not be too intrusive from a visual perspective.I have used my unit while plugged in and haven't noticed any buzzing as reported by others. However, one tricky outcome is finding the optimal volume level between the connected iPhone and my nav unit. The voice prompts from the Scosche unit when powered on come out clear and loud but when I play any music, I typically have to power up the volume on the nav unit and iPhone. In other words, the audio playback needs a boost of volume when compared to using the Scosche for audio commands and phone calls. This requires me to play with the iPhone volume and the nav unit volume so I can get the optimal balance for music vs. audio commands/voice calls.
