About this item

  • Quick pairing and automatic reconnect: Bluetooth 30-pin transmitter adapter to quickly pair with old iPod, support pairing iPods with a 30-pin connector and manufactured after 2007, can automatically reconnect your device after the first pairing.

Product compatibility:

The iPod transmitter provided by YOVDA is not compatible with iPods manufactured prior to 2007.

Not compatible with iPod Touch 2nd generation and iPod Touch 1st generation, iPod Nano 6, iPod Mini (4GB), iPod Touch 2nd generation, iPad Touch 1st generation and iPod Classic (30GB).not compatible with iPods before 2007, iPod Touch 2, iPod Touch 1, iPod Nano 6, iPod Mini (4GB), 2nd generation iPod Touch, 1st generation iPad Touch, iPod Classic (30GB), ipod 60GB,ipod 160GB,Ipod disk 80GB etc.

The automatic pairing function does not support mutual connection with car speakers. Some devices may fail to automatically connect because Bluetooth is already connected to other devices (including mobile phones, tablets, etc.).

Due to compatibility issues, the volume of speakers, stereos, and car speakers cannot be controlled, and the volume can only be controlled through the iPod. Please note that some customized iPods may not be able to control volume either.

How to use?

1. When you start pairing your ipod with speakers, etc., headphones, etc.' devices, make sure that these devices are not already paired with other devices (e.g., cell phones, iPads) when you turn them on.

2. Then plug the adapter into the 30-pin connector on your iPod and pair it with a Bluetooth device, such as a Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth for cars.

3. It is powered by your old iPod and will drain the iPod battery faster. If your ipod runs out of power, the transmitter will automatically stop working.

Plug in to the bottom port of your old iPod Classic (with much more memory than most phones for more variety of music) and wirelessly attach to any of the new, high quality, wireless headphones. I use a 2007 iPod Classic and 2024 Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra headphones with perfect quality of sound.

I recently bought a 2024 Toyota Prius: no Aux jack for my beloved ipods!! After much due diligence i ordered this Bluetooth Transmitter for iPod, Bluetooth Adapter for Old iPod Classic. Upon arrival i immediately paired it with my car and voila! Works like a charm, the downside of course is that i can't charge the ipod while listening with this device connected. However i could not be happier with my purchase.

It's not bulky, fits and stays in my ipod nano 6th generation. But sadly I have to give it 4 stars as I can not adjust volume on the ipod to my earbuds so it's at its loudest. I'm getting new ones that have volume control so I will update my review if I can lower the volume with it. If I can work around the volume issue, I will give it full stars, until then it's 4 stars.

I’m so glad to find this Bluetooth transmitter that allows me to be able to play my iPod in my 2024 Toyota Venza which no longer has the aux port. For reference my iPod model is A1238, 160GB with video and photo, silver case. I don’t remember the year it was released but several Google searches puts it somewhere between 7th & 9th generation. Your experience may vary depending on your iPod model and car. It took me awhile to figure out how to pair it correctly. So happy to finally be able to play my music library/collection in my car without any commercials. Thank you!

When I took this little thing out of the package I for sure thought I had been screwed over. It didn’t even look like a real electronic device. It’s smaller than it looks in the pics and, honestly just looks like a plastic toy or something. But I tried it anyway, and it is AWESOME!!! It plays the clearest and best sounding music through my car stereo. And I love the fact that it automatically connects to my phone as soon as I start my car. And the little mic is even really loud n clear. Def recommend! 10 out of 10, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up!!!

It works exactly as I expected. I plugged it in, found it in the Bluetooth settings on my phone, and connected, no problems. It turns completely off when the power is cut off, so there is no danger of accidentally connecting when I'm out of the car, but it reconnects automatically (and announces the connection verbally) in less than five seconds when I turn the key on. It sounds great, at least as good as when I had my phone plugged directly into the AUX jack on the radio. I haven't had a chance to evaluate the voice pickup for a telephone call yet, but everything else is exactly what I was looking for and at a very inexpensive price.UPDATE: The device stopped working about three weeks after I installed it in my car. All I got through the AUX input was ignition noise, no announcement of connection and no audio from my phone. It worked again briefly after a couple of days, then died again, apparently permanently. I have returned it for a refund and ordered a similar item. I reduced my rating by two stars over the reliability concerns.
