Works well, can use with our own headphones. Movie nights are a go with our son sleeping tight.

I purchased one and it arrived DOA. The replacement unit works. There is a big issue with the sticker that covers the display. It has a QR code to get clearer instructions for set up. I recommend using this code and remove the sticker before setting up.I saw one review where a guy thought the unit he received was not the same product. His photo showed the sticker still in place. While the sticker is a great idea, it is not transparent and you can't tell what's going on if it is still in place. A great idea that must be causing a lot of returns and support calls. The downside to this product is that it defaults to optical input. If there is no audio coming from the source, it will switch back to optical from the Aux input. When audio begins, it takes some time for the device to switch to Aux causing no audio at the start of a song or TV show. This is the reason for my 4 stars. If they only detected the presence of an Aux when you plug it in, then there would be no input switching going on causing the delay at the start of an audio signal. The other issue I have is that the latency is not low enough to keep the audio synced with the video while using with TV shows. The product states low-latency, but it's not low enough.

Wszystkie kable w pudełku. Podłączenie i działanie bezproblemowe. Polecam

It does just what I needed it to do...or so I thought.Turns out I'm an idiot and haven't paired headphones in so long I forgot how to so I thought my Samsung TV would only paid to Samsung headphones. So I bought this lol.Turns out I don't actually need it but instead of returning it amd getting my $50 back I'm keeping it and I'll tell you why.First of all pairing headphones to it is extremely easy.It supports two pairs at once just like my tv does so that's cool. But the real reason I'm keeping it is twofold.Number one it supports more codes than my tv does. I tested it using my Sony XM3 using SBC, aptX, and LL.Second reason I'm keeping it, which is by far the biggest reason, is it most definitely boosts volume over what I'd normally get from the optical connection.I just use the buttons on the headphones to control the volume. It's a beautiful thing and to me is most definitely worth the money.I have mine hooked up to a remote control power outlet so I can turn it on only when I want it on instead of using the tv usb that would power it all the time.I just switch my tv to optical, turn on the remote control power switch to turn this unit on, turn on my headphones and it just connects.I have 5 different pairs of Bluetooth headphones and so far I've hooked up the 2 I really wanted which is the Sony XM3's and Skullcandy Crusher Evo's and man the Evo's sound the best and get the loudest even over my Sony's.Pairing the Samsung Buds Pro2 and 3 is a bit more difficult bc the TV grabs that Bluetooth signal over everything else so I have to pair to this unit with another device and keeping the tv off so it won't steal the Bluetooth connection.Man if it makes those 2 ear buds louder like it does these 2 that will be CRAZY bc they already sound so good.I'll do that when I get around to it.For now this little Bluetooth transmitter is awesome. It's literally the only one I could find that boosts the volume using the optical input unless I was looking to spend far over $100.This things so great I even bought the 3 year extended warranty for $7 which i mever do but just in case lol.I usually buy 2 or 3 of things I really like but not on a $50 device w an extended warranty lol.It sounds really good to my ears and I haven't experienced even the slightest bit of audio lag.The sync seems to be right on time and I'm using the SBC codec at the moment.Aptx is even better!Sweet little box I really like it!

Avantree Audikast Plus Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter for TV with Volume Control, aptX Low Latency Audio Adapter for 2 Headphones (Optical, AUX, RCA, USB), Class 1 Long Range 100ft - No Receiver ModeASIN# B07TLHRPDP I spend a few hours each night watching TV with my Mom, her time is getting short. She is also hearing impaired. I have a Trond BT transmitter that I've been using because on the great room TV we can pair with 2 sets of earbuds at the same time. The Trond(s) work great, but the reason I purchased this Avantree, because while using the Trond (I have 3, I tried all of them) on the TV or Roku device when paired with 2 sets of earbuds, the sound on one or both pairs would stutter and cut out repeatedly after about an hour of usage. So I figured the problem was the Tronds, turns out I was wrong So when hooked up the Avantree to the CATV, Roku, DVD - the sound would begin to stutter and cut out after about an hour of usage as well. I am stating this in case anyone out there has similar issues that this might help and save you a lot of frustration. And here was the problem. My Mom listens to TV on her earbuds ALL DAY long, the MPOW’s (currently sold on Amazon as MSTHOO and Ruebitrue, best all around earbuds you can get for the money) that I had purchased for her can hold a charge for a good 6 hours or more, and she uses them for around than 14 hours total, mostly for the news during the day. So both of her sets of earbuds go through an entire charge cycle every day. I purchased these most recent ones for her in December 2021 for Xmas. The problems started around early to middle of May 2022. After ruling out everything else and a whole lot of angry frustration, I had come to realize that the batteries on the earbuds had weakened and would start to fail at about 60 to 90 minutes of usage. So I am guessing they’re good for about 100+ charge cycles or so, they still work fine on their own, but when 2 are paired on the same transmitter they begin to have issues. Even if my pair of earbuds were almost new, if one pair of earbuds out of the two was weak, it would cause both pairs to stutter. (unless the receivers on the earbuds are burning out or weakening, still a possibility)Now back to the Avantree. The range was great, I could walk all the way out to my fence outside my home which is about 50 - 60 feet away, strong and clear signal, even with 2 sets of earbuds on at the same time. (I initially thought the range in the details was exaggerated, it was not, but see above for that issue) It was very easy to pair 2 sets of earbuds, just push a button, and the second set would connect. And it has a volume control, very handy on the Roku because the volume on that is weaker than on the CATV box. (The Roku is also on a DONGJIAN audio extractor, the main TV line out is awful, I had to use the line out/Roku remote with a BT transmitter, latency was very bad, and the extractor completely eliminates all latency on this device, COMPLETELY) Unfortunately I ended sending the Avantree back, not realizing the problem was the earbuds battery, weakened by high usage. If I realized that the earbuds were the problem, I would’ve not only kept this one for the CATV, I would’ve purchased another separate one to be used for the Roku so I wouldn’t have to switch them back and forth between the 2 devices. I hope the folks over at Avantree are reading this, my humblest of apologies, this whole Bluetooth tech is brand new to me, I didn’t start using any Bluetooth devices until September of 2020.I give this Avantree 5 stars all around, and I will be getting another one quite soon. I highly recommend, especially at the price point, it is HIGHLY competitive with other transmitters of this type.I hope this helped.
