This fan and motor was easy to install on the bracket I already had. The reversible fan blades are great so it works in any application. The motor is quiet and moves a good amount of air. Hopefully it will be reliable but no way to know yet.

The fan is a very good replacement. Unfortunately the fan part was too big to fit in the fan housing. Had to buy a replacement metal fan from Granger to fit. This fan/motor will fit for most people but not in my house. My fault, but I thought I could make it fit. The plastic fan blade is better than my metal one because it is lighter and better balanced. Just measure your opening because it is always a tight fit. This unit is pretty quiet because it does not rattle in the housing unlike my metal fan blade. Good luck!

20 years old NuTone ceiling fan give up spinning. It is painful if I replace whole frame with covers, because integrated in ceiling with drywall. I carefully check inside and found motor unit is replaceable separately.Double checked spinning direction and order this motor/fan unit, propeller pitch is not exactly matching with original one, but who cares,, install in less than 10 minutes and running quietly.Nice replacement unit !

Was able to adapt this to fit in an old Miami Carey thru the wall kitchen vent fan. It's quiet and works well. Easy to change direction of air by flipping the fan blades. My only gripe is that it does not come with the (small, somewhat hard to find) nuts that go on the threaded mounting rods, but that's not a huge deal.

this fan looks and fits perfectly however she spends nowhere near as fast as the original even broken the original worked better this van doesn't even clear the steam if you take a hot shower
