RV Tape Basic Procedure

1.Surface Cleaning: Wipe the surface to be repaired/taped with a dry cloth or damp towel to thoroughly remove grease, dirt and moisture and ensure complete dryness.

2.Cut the tape: Tear the tape to the desired length (about 5cm longer than the repair area), with scissors along the edge.

3.Fit and press: Remove the tape backing and slowly apply the tape to the surface from one end, while pressing evenly with the palm of your hand from the center to the sides to expel air bubbles.

4.Edge reinforcement (optional): Apply small sections of tape in a crisscross pattern at both ends of the tape to form an "X" structure for enhanced strength in extreme environments.

We love how sturdy and strong this tape is, after putting it on my recently purchased 1999 camper roof. Time will tell if it holds up to its longevity promises, but all indications are, that it surely will! And the price was much better than the other name brand!

I used it on my slide roof sides and it didn’t hold to well I had it up there for a week and was able to pull it right up. So not happy for that but on the roof of the RV it worked well. So far maybe the heat needs to hit it. Cause I put a canopy up over the new roof slide and no heat gets to it. I’m in Florida and I did it when the slide was inside so I will see after the heat from the sun hits it it’s not as sticky as it says it is unless you stick it together or maybe I didn’t press hard enough I won’t buy it again and I bought 5 rolls of it 4” by 50 ft eternabond was the choice I went cheaper.

This stuff works great just make sure what your applying it to is cleaned and after you apply it use a hair dryer to warm it up and get all air out and it also heats up the glue n makes a great bond

I installed a large array of solar on the roof of my camper and thought that adding roof tape to the seams would be a great precaution before the install so that I didn't have to do it later. It installed easy and has stayed down for the remained of the season (125* desert temps). Good product.

It works as it should. Make sure it’s where you want it, because it’s tough to get off.
