This review is for the RV Roof Sealant 2 Pack, Self Leveling RV Roof Sealant White, for Roofs, Edges, Air Vents, Vent Pipes and Screw Heads, Waterproof (10.1 FL OZ).Just got this delivered for some planned projects when it's warmer out. I don't want to use it now due to it's winter and stuff heaves up when the ground freezes, then drops when it thaws. I have some areas around our sliding glass door that was put in on our back livingroom wall that I don't think are totally sealed properly and around our side kitchen door under the aluminum doorsill. Also need to reseal some awnings...Since this stuff is made for RV's to remain flexible and handle temp/weather extremes, it should work well. But I'll wait until it's warm & dry out as I want to make sure the gaps are completely filled. This 2 pack is the self leveling type, so it should stay where I put it and it's simple to apply. If there's any issues when I use it I'll come back and report.Regular price $ 19.99 per the listing, is good I think. Checkout their store too because they have other products that might be useful. I bought several tubes of silicone caulking at a local big box store and it was much more expensive and it didn't seal up where it was used! It was properly done too with scraping all the old off, cleaning the surface, applied when dry out for several days... So I'll be redoing that too when it's warm/dry out, and I have more of this stuff coming that's the self leveling type.As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

Used one tube to seal around the vent in our trailer roof. Will carry the second tube with us for emergency repairs (hopefully not needed!). Was easy to apply and dried within a few hours. The bond appeared to be tight and complete.

I installed an A/C unit on the top of our 1995 Ford E-150 van 4 years ago. The roof is not level so I had to cut and glue plastic blocks to level the roof for the air conditioner. It recently started leaking and this self leveling roof sealant was perfect. I put it all around the A/C unit and it leveled out nicely. Next day I thoroughly washed the van roof using lots of water and got no leaks whatsoever. Very easy to apply and was precisely what I needed.

BondTech is another brand of Roof Sealant that I have used to protect my RV roof. Any gap or inconsistency is taken care of with this sealant. It applies with little effort, spreads like a charm covering and protecting any penetration with ease. I enjoy the low odor, easy spread ability, fast curing and a beautiful white finish. I have no idea of its longevity since this is freshly applied but RV manufacturers usually say every 6 months to a year between inspections. I like this brand of sealant. It looks good, and I feel I got a good deal on this sealat. I am confident it will keep the water out. 5 stars

It is self-leveling sealant, for use on horizontal surfaces as it will spread out. See pics for picture of back of tube, which has all the directions. Tube came with a pair of finger cots and a pair of tubes, which were already open, but the directions say to cut to the desired angle/flow rate. The tube says it is specifically formulated for RVs and has strong adhesion to steel, aluminum, wood, glass. It does not specifically list EPDM and TPO roof material but does say RV roof material. Be aware - you can't just use big box store caulk!Per the manufacturer, the shelf life of this sealant is two years. My tube was dated with both manufacture and expiration dates and was about 10 weeks old when I received it. so about 20% into the shelf life. Acceptable, but be aware that this stuff does not last indefinitely. For proper installation, it all comes down to the right prep. Make sure to:- Clean off all old sealants. Use a plastic scraper and get all off. Be VERY careful if using any metal as you may cause damage to roof membrane. Do not get lazy and think it's fine to just add another layer over old sealant. You can't get the old sealant clean enough to make sure you get a good bond.- Inspect for damage and repair if needed.- Clean the roof using mild soap and brush. Do NOT use any petroleum based products (like WD40) as they will cause deterioration of the membrane. I recommend Dawn dishwashing soap.- Use a clean cloth with acetone or denatured alcohol to do a final wipe of the area.- Let dry completely before applying sealantWhen you are sealing, it is best to make a thin line as a dam around the whole area (at least 3/4-1" wider than the bracket, screw head, etc.). Then, go back and fill in the area until it is completely full. The thin dam is to try to limit the overall spread and control the pool. Plus, it lets you outline the area before you cover the bracket, etc., so it is easier to tell when you are done (and not waste too much material or not get far enough coverage). If you are doing a large area, work in sections to make sure you have nice clean areas to apply and reclean as necessary.I used these tubes (along with two other brands) around some solar panel brackets I fabricated from strut channel, so I will report back once they have had a chance to weather a while and see if this performs as good as the name brands.

we have a patio room that has a paneled roof with seams and one of the seams was starting to leak. We used this product to lay down a nice bead along the seam of the roof to keep out the water from rain and it did exactly what we needed it to do. It is very easy to apply with a standard caulking gun and the product lays out and self levels just like the more expensive name brand products. It is a good value and comparable to the name brand products, I would definitely recommend this product if you need to reseal a roof or motorhome or RV and want to save a few bucks from the name brand product.

One star because this is not self-leveling lap seal (See photo. That’s what it looks like after 10 minutes.) The kit comes with two tubes of product, two nozzles, and two cute little condom thingies that you would roll over the nozzle of a partially used tube to keep it fresh.
