My wood had rotted in my RV roof in the front. Rather than spend $3,000 to have it replaced, I bought two 18"x24" 1/16th thick sheets of aluminum and laid them on top. I used RV tape on the edges and then put this over it all. No more leaks and less than $200 for all of it. It spreads smoothly and goes on as thick as you want. Skinned over in a few hours in the sun. Now, no more worries about hail. Tornado-proof, I doubt it. :)

Better than any other roof coating I have tried, very thick and a little difficult to brush but well worth the extra effort.

Had a persistent water leak through my concrete chimney cap with no obvious cracks. After trying a different sealer, I decided to go with this. It's all silicone and I figured if it can stand up to waterproofing an entire flat roof, it could cover my chimney cap. I put it on with a brush and it starts out as a very thick liquid so you have to be careful of drips if you have any vertical surfaces. Went on easily, is nice and thick, and once it sets you've basically completely encased whatever you painted with a completely waterproof silicone membrane. It completely stopped my leak and I can see water beading up and running off the cap now.

This is an easily applied product that is self leveling over rough surfaces and gives a superb professional result. I used the product to stop annoying leaks from a flat roof down into the living area. It adheres well, dries quickly and after a really really tough typhoon/ rainstorm (that you only get in Hawaii) not a drop penetrated into the living area. And this was buckets and buckets of rain!It has a quick drying time as I am working under a hot Hawaiian sun but the product spreads smoothly over a rough tile and concrete roofing area. I applied it simply with a brush to make sure the job was detailed and successful, but it can be applied with a roller and through paint sprayer as well. I have been bothered by leaks for two or three years and regular deck paint applications were totally ineffective. This is an excellent product and I appreciate Amazon for picking it up and placing it in their line. This product has really solved one of my biggest maintenance issues. I also use it to weatherize rust bolts after wire brushing and the product holds well on vertical surfaces. I am totally impressed with this product

It was damaged in shipping but my husband called the factory and they sent a replacement which got here in 2 days. As for the product itself it was very easy to work with and we had full coverage on our chicken house roof - 1 gal covered 144 sq feet. No more leaks!

My roof is a gently-sloped, commercial-style roof, some kind of EPDM or plastic or rubber, not roof shingles. It had a leak, near the joint where an addition had been made to the original structure, that was causing damage to our bedroom ceiling. I was pretty sure I knew the general area of the leak, but could not pin down the specific source. I had tried more than a dozen EPDM and other types of roof patches and also a couple of different liquid pastes and sealants, but these either didn't fix the problem or fixed it only briefly.I came across this roof coating and the idea of 100% silicone, adhesion to different surfaces, and a thick paint-like application all seemed like what i needed. It worked beautifully. I thoroughly cleaned the surfaces, pulled off as much of the other repair stuff as i could and painted this on. I did three coats over three days. It went on like thick paint, was self-leveling, and flowed into various crevices and seams. It dried smooth and pliable and the adhesion so far seems to be excellent, just about the way you would expect a thick paint to adhere to an appropriate surface. It left a thick, rubbery, tough, somewhat hard but still pliable surface covering about 10 square feet and eliminating the leak, wherever it was lurking. Perfect. The material is not inexpensive, but it was less expensive than a lot of the other roof repair materials that I was buying, especially in combination (and that have now gone back to Amazon). And this product did the job in a way I consider ideal. Way better than patches.I had been very concerned about there being no way to find and fix the leak, so the fact that this product worked was a great relief. Now I can get on to repairing the damage to my ceiling.

Was concerned about lack of application instructions at first, I was thinking ahead about does it need mixed; thinned or stirred? What nap roller pad to use, how to “ clean-up”?We’ll, here’s the scoop from my experience:When opened, it was smoothly mixed, a good viscosity so no stirring or thinning necessary. It brushed on seams easily filling cracks and valleys in the existing rubberized coating with a 2” or 3” cheap brush and rolled on well with 3/8” nap roller but don’t expect to clean-up or re-use either of them, and use a cheap plastic roller pan liner ($1.88), just throw them all away when finished. I was amazed how it almost self-leveled, and when done it looks like a poured-on white liquid plastic! It should protect well and looks so much better than my original roof!I have a 23ft camp trailer that measures 7-1/2’x 15-1/2’ flat roof area, 1-gallon pail covered it nicely with a little left over. All I could find on 100% silicone (hand) clean-up was vinegar or possibly isopropyl alcohol, but don’t expect to salvage brushes and rollers!
