100/100I got this adhesive to seal and adhere alumininum plates over holes I was patching in the outbuildings to prevent vermin from nesting. After filling the holes with mesh, I covered an aluminum plate with this adhesive and stuck it over the hole. Then, of course, I completed the project using about 6 screws.It's been a couple of months including lots of rain and cold (including freezing) temps . . . so far, this has been an excellent choice.It does what it's supposed to do and what more can youask from a product?Ultimately, is it worth the price? Yes

"Danger: Causes serious eye and skin irritation. Potential to cause allergic and asthma symptoms or breathing difficulty when inhaled. Risk of allergic skin reaction. May damage fertility or the unborn child. May be carcinogenic. CAN cause organ damage (nervous system, 9ensory system, sensory organs, etc. ) with prolonged or repeated exposure."There are other warnings and instructions for use on the container. Be prepared to purchase proper PPE after thoroughly reading all instructions on the container. I would hesitate to consider using this indoors, or use it on the exterior in locations where the vapors have a potential to migrate indoors. I once used an epoxy on repair of a window. luckily it was a window to a 3 season porch that could easily be isolated from the rest of the house, but we had epoxy vapors for upwards of a week on that porch!Note that I saw nothing on the container that said it was paintable. I am sure that in the hands of an expert use of this material is safe. If you are not an expert, either become one, or hire a contractor.

I had to read another review to know that this would not be safe to use indoors. I used it to patch a leak in my RV's gutter. But I wish I could have used it for some sealing inside. The fumes are just too strong. I'm not an expert and was a little intimidated by this product.By the way, what is the purpose of the ball inside the pop top on the plunger end?

I used this to install a transom in a 20' Texas Maid Bahamas aluminum boat. This 4000 marine sealant did the job perfectly. I installed the wooden transom Saturday morning and removed the clamps and took it to the lake for a water test. No leaks at all. This adhesive/sealant is super tough. I filled two 1/2 inch holes in the aluminum with just this sealant and they hold water fine. They are also tough enough to were the cured rubber will not peel off or be pushed through the holes even with a ice chest sliding around on them. Just be sure to cleanup any excess before it hardens or it will be nearly impossible to remove.

This tube is easy to apply with a caulking gun. It is a high grade sealant and is extremely durable and remains good and flexible. The sealant comes with a set of small gloves and a nozzle. It cures extremely fast and is UV proof and can be used on most any surface. I used it to seal up leaks in side windows on an old boat. It did an outstanding job.Damon M. Tatem
