I use these to separate a crucible and molds from the ground for pouring. Molten metal dripping onto them didn't affect them. I would buy these again.

These things are pretty fragile. Recommend requesting shipping in Amazon packaging. Bricks shipped in package shown alone can be broken easily in shipping when delivery clowns drop kick them.
