Seems to be holding up well after 3 weeks and a cat who is always using it. You need hemp rope so it lasts longer.

I love that it will last longer than the rattan that was there before. My cat still uses it but it does not shred and fall apart like the old one. Save me some money.

cats liked it, and there is no smell. it was easy to attach to their scratching post, and it didn't feel super tough where the cats wouldn't like to scratch it, but it gave enough pull for it to not hurt them.I like that it feels like rope and not like plastic nylon type of rope.It also has a decent diameter to it and isn't thin. - we got one that legit looks like and feels like twine in a plastic way.

My cat loves to sharpen her nails and scratch on nearly everything. When her scratching posts became old, torn, and dull, I had to figure something out. I found this product and ordered it to fix up the old sisal rope areas. It came quickly, was easy to monuver and twist around the pillars/posts of her cat tower, easily cuttable, and worked for us perfectly. It actually worked so well, that a few months later, we bought more to fix up her mushroom scratching post in the other room! I bought the size of 50 ft, and it was enough to handle an entire kitty condo that has multiple levels with 4 pillars on each side. Also, as some may know, hemp rope can have a lingering smell.. I mean, it is rope that comes from a type of marijuana seed maturing to a plant, being cut down, harvested, and turned into basically string to make different the products such as this.. BUT, this product doesn’t smell like that. The company thoroughly cleans the ropes before they are sold so you have no worries, just time to focus on your fur babies, the way it should be

I'm very happy with the quality of this rope. I used it to redo my kitty cats tree. She loves to scratch it up and all the previous rope was shredded. It was easy to use the rope. It attached very well to my glue and the cat post.
