I really don't know if this works but I have used now on 3 occasions 6 months apart and have not had main sewer drain root plug in 18 months when it had plugged up twice 6 months apart with roots prior to use of the Root x

This product was easy to use. The containers are high quality. The foaming action works quickly, so it's necessary to have the buckets of water ready. There are well made, easy to follow instructional videos online.

We live in the desert, so root intrusion in the sewer system is very bad. We have back ups a couple of times of year resulting in cleaning out the sewer line which is very expensive.We now use Rootx 2x a year (4 lb) and no roots! 3 plus years with no issues!

I use root x once a year in my old cement drain pipes. Plus a rooter rooter treatment. Works very well. Easy to apply.

I've been rootx each year for around 10 years. I don't know if it's cheaper than having to call a plumber occasionally for a flooded basement, but it's well worth it. I haven''t had any backups since I started using it.

I use this in my house where there are many old oak and ash trees that like to burrow in old cast iron and clay pipes... RootX keeps the roots away..... 1 treatment 2 times a year is what I use to keep my line clean and worry free.
