This powder is used monthly to keep the septic tank system running properly. When having this type of system there are a series of other factors that come to place to maintain the entire system working. Highly recommend this product.

One box, once a month, easy. In months when we have lots of house guests (we rent our pool and through parties sometimes) we do one box every 2 weeks. Previous owners of our home told us they had to pump septic 2-3 times / year. With Ridix - no pumping needed to date after 20 months.

I am required to use a monthly septic treatment. I use Rid-X since that was recommended when I purchased the house 15 years ago. I always use this size in powder form because I use the entire box & no measuring is needed. Rid-X worked well for years until I quit using it due to lack of availability due to the pandemic & now I have issues. I purchased the 12 pack because it was a good price. Use Rid-X on the 1st of every month so you will remember to use product.

I have used this for 35 years in the tank. I pump every 3 years. I add a packet of Fleishman's yeast every month, but 2 weeks offset from RidX. System continues to pass State code for Massachusetts. There has NEVER been any solid waste passed from tank to distribution box.
