Product Description

The feel of an acoustic kick drum (but quieter) a nice solid kick drum usually comes with a nice loud noise. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want, but your family or neighbors may not feel the same way. The KD-10 kick pad absorbs much of the noise thanks to its rubber cover combined with dedicated cushion, but retains that satisfying kick drum ‘thud’ when a beater buries into a bass drum head, so it’s ideal for playing at home where loud noise may cause problems.

Only the KD-10 arrived in the box, no manual or stereo cable. The box looked re-taped and there was a dent so my guess is this was a re-re-sell.The online manual lists the items that would be expected in the box.So unless I can get at least the cable that should be with this re-re-sell my review will remain at 1-star.Does the drum work? No idea, can’t plug it in!

If you enjoy Loud Slapping sound like plastic against plastic, then buy it. That's all I can tell you.

I needed to upgrade my old bass drum trigger. This is everything I need for now. Good, realistic playing response. Feels like a real bass drum. My only critique is that it moves side to side slightly when you play it, but I may need to try a different pedal. Overall - great bass drum trigger!

I bought this bass drum trigger on ebay to use with my ddrum module. It triggers fantastically! The threshold can be set pretty high and it still triggers with much sensitivity. The only issue is with my double pedal it really isn't too sturdy. You have to keep the pedal off center to make the beaters hit the center of the pad. I'm using my drum rack to hold it in place. I'm sure with a single player it will stay pretty secure.

Feels great when using it. But this is the 2nd one that is going out on me. The first one went out on me in around 6 or 7 months, and now this one is going out on me, and I purchased around the end of the summer to replace the first one. It's been about 5 months or so. Although, I use it very often as it is out church "drum set". When I use the kick, it triggers the kick once, instead of twice, so I get a stacked sound. Or, sometimes it delays, and I get the first sound, then the second sound triggers a split second later. Im not sure if its because the circuits get cold, or because if the wear and tear, but It does get annoying at times. Then again, it also might serve as a good sign of progress! over all, it's a great electric kick drum and it feels great!
