Great for anyone wanting to explore drums and not purchase a drum set. The only thing we found if that the sticks need to hit it straight on, not on an angle

Great yoy just make sure it’s on a hard surface but works great and keeps children off all ages and some adults busy for hours. I like buying things that last and this is great quality.

This is great drum set and something that my grandkids can grow into as well. It is like a pad drum set that adults can get though I have never had one but, it's made for kids. Not sure if it's tougher or what but it seems to take a real beating. The kids don't just hit it with the sticks, they step on it, slam on it with their hands, hit it with other things and the drums seem to respond pretty good. Sometimes if you don't hit it quit right the drum won't play course the kids don't care that is only an issue for the reviewer aka me!!The set comes with the drum pad, sticks, and pedals for foot pads. I don't think my grandkids are ready for the foot pads so I didn't use that as I figured they might break it since they can be quite violent sometimes.This is a great set for the little drumming enthusiasts. It really gives a good idea of how to play it's as well pretty sturdy. I was fairly impressed with the sound I wasn't expecting it to be as decent as it was for a kids set so that was a bonus. It's definitely not a pro set or anything like that but, this is a ton of fun for the musically minded kid.

I ordered this for a budding drummer who aspires to be like her uncle, who is some kind of a savant when it comes to learning how to play instruments (self-taught, too). I know absolutely nothing about drums, regular or electronic, so I asked him to play these before I gave them to the kid. He said that he was genuinely impressed by how well they worked and how very sturdy they were. He was not expecting them to sound as good as they did, and he was very impressed by the different options available, options that he does not have with his old school drum set. He's now thinking he's going to have to get one of these, as it's opening up a whole new world for him. The biggest one was being able to play with earphones in while the kids are asleep. I was worried then that it would be too complicated for an 11 year old kid. And some of the features may be difficult for her to navigate at first, but she would figure them out eventually.

This electric drum set is great to try out the drums before you commit to buying your kid an entire actual drum set. Or even if you just dont have the money or space, its a good faximily. It even comes with pedals, its surprisingly close to an actual drum set. Plus theres the added bonus of it being able to be used with headphones.Its easy enough to set up, you connect the pedals and that's pretty much it. You can plug in headphones so its quiet, or play music off your own phone to practice along to. It has built in speakers too, and several tunes built in as well as some other features and modes.Its well made, and all the cables it uses are standard, no weird proprietary ones needed. Its pretty fun to play.Its a great way for someone to figure out if drums are actually for them. Its not the same as real drums of course but it will give a pretty good idea of what playing drums is actually like.

My son has really enjoyed these electronic drums. He kept asking me for a drum set, but I did NOT want to hear him banging around all day long (and I’m sure the neighbors don’t want to either), so this seemed like a good compromise. He can play along with music from his phone, record himself, and play to his hearts content - all while using HEADPHONES!!!! There are multiple different modes to change the sound/style of the drums as well. And then when he’s nailed a good riff he can easily either record it and play it back for me or just take out his headphones and play it. This was a great purchase and the versatility alone makes it superior to many other models I’ve seen. This was a great success and a great choice on my part if I do say so myself! Moms who don’t want to hear a full size drum set all day, this is your answer!

I got this on a whim and figured we could have some fun with it. It is pretty fun, and it comes with two pedals and two sticks. I think for what it is, it could be cheaper, around the 30 dollar area. If it had some kind of drum pad function for a PC, I think it would be worth the price because right now, its simply a noisemaker but this is great for kids.
