Ordered non-locking hemostats. We received locking hemostats that have been crudely modified to cut off the locking mechanism. Additionally they were both bent/ damaged. We went to do a return and returns are at the customer's expense. This is an outrage!

Finger holes are so sharp they cut my finger. Crude, loose, unpolished and unfinished garbage. This is going straight into the trash. DO NOT BUY THIS.

I bought these to help feed my snakes. It's much safer holding the rat with the forceps. And if you hold them correctly, you won't pinch your fingers like a dummy. There's no lock, which helps release the rat after the snake has grabbed it. Five stars. Will probably buy another pair soon.

For me, The item is good for the price. The item does not have a locking ability and it is difficult to grip flexible items. Have to be careful; easy to pinch hand or fingers when holding this item in the middle. Rated a 3 because I have pinched my palm several times. I feel that If the item locked, the pinch and pain would have been avoided. Suggest Velcro to secure movable parts on place.

I got these hemostats to pull oak leaves out of my Bromeliads without getting scratched. So far, I'm pleased with the results, but perhaps I should have gotten the 16 inch instead of the 18 inch set. They're very long.
